He Wants To Sue FRSC - Autos - Nairaland y232s

Hello auto experts.
A friend of mine wants to sue the FRSC for delayed issuance of Driver's Licence.
He was captured and issued a temporary driver's licence in January 2024. The temporary licence expired in April 2024. He has gone to their Ojodu office severally but they always stamp on a sheet of paper and ask him to use that as proof of licence. cheesy

My guy was supposed to travel out in February this but he needs his licence (to aid in driving test overseas).

Any legal means to prevail upon FRSC?

My friend doesn't even mind dropping "anything" at this point. He is desperate to get his permanent licence and leave the country! But I told him it is totally wrong.

How do we query them?
Who do we report to?

Typing: 7:22am On May 13

Drivers license doesn't take more than a month in Kaduna. While it takes less than two weeks for renewal. I did my renewal and collect it in 8 days.

One thing I came to realise is,I love Nigeria.u know why,cos it has made everyone sharp.... u wan follow due process,oya na,wait and get,then e go be come back next week,from thr,server is down,wait small rain is coming,
Or u bribe your way thru fast ,aka EXpress/ and get the job done within 10mins.

My wife did her own in Abeokuta, after the temporary was given, a month after, they started using phone and test messages to disturb her to come and pick the original....

I guess they have a lot on their hand in that state, that's why it is delayed, just be patience with them..
