Most concerns about aging societies in North America & Western Europe will be mitigated by technology. Take self driving cars for instance. Yes there's a truck driver shortage due to retirements, but there's automated trucks on the road in Texas and Arkansas right now, not tomorrow....right now. The money saved will surely contribute to stabilizing the economy in the same way that computers did when they became widespread.
