Many ordinary Nigerians think it's easy for a party to suspend it's member for anti-party just like that. Yes it may sound simple and easy, but the party's constitution and INEC guidelines on this makes it a very difficult task, especially when the member controls his local politics and politicians.


So PDP not suspending Wike is not about Wike having balls, or because Wike is too big or bigger than PDP, no, it's all about following the party constitution and INEC guidelines too.


Before you can suspend a PDP party member, the request for his or her suspension must come from his or her ward where he or she comes from or ed.


If you suspend a member without a formal request/application from his or her local ward Chairman or leaders, that suspension will not stand, court will strike it out and it will become an effort in futility.


And as we all know, Nyesome Wike controls everything that happens in his ward in Rivers state, so it's not easy getting his ward to suspend him to enable the national uphold and effect that suspension, so can you see why it's difficult to suspend Nyesome Wike who has become a spoiler?

Wike is bigger than PDP. He has singlehandedly financed the party since he became governor and folks like Atiku kept leaving and coming back. That's why almost all the party bigwigs are his loyalists...the same thing that had in Rivers State

You don't really understand politics, especially in Nigeria where the party that produces the President decides everything in the nation.


It's not easy to become a good follower if you were once the leader. It's not easy for a Royal Father to suddenly become an ordinary citizen following orders, it's a very difficult transition for most if not all humans.


PDP was formed and they started their journey for 16 good years as the ruling party, so being in the opposition without holding the central Presidential power disorganized them because the were never good opposition leaders but people who enjoyed being the leaders for decades. So not holding that federal power disorganized them as they kept scrambling to those holding on to the federal power at the moment to enable them continue being in charge or at the corridor of power.




It's just like an ajebutter and an ajekpako boy. Ajekpako can blend and fight his way through rough society but an ejebutter can only function in a well structured society where he has everything in place. That is what PDP is suffering.



But APC was formed by born opposition leaders and political cashivists who have mastered the art of being in opposition, so they can survive any terrain more than PDP.



PDP just need to put their house in order, appeal to certain political figures to make some brave sacrifices that will birth a formidable alliance and then present a credible pair for Presidency and APC will be gone because APC failed Nigerian people's high expectations of them.

Wike is not the principal problem of the PDP.

The problem is that many of the founding fathers have taken the backseat. There is unbridled ambition by some unwilling to rescue the party.

If not that they left the party and actively undermined it while Wike held the reins, Wike could not have become a behemoth.

Some of the elected leaders may have received favours from Wike in the past. When Bala was blabbing, Dogara revealed that Wike funded his election. Bala's son started attacking Atiku afterwards and Atiku's son fought back.

Nigeria is more than 280 million people. The lavish or luxury weddings and ceremonies you see are being done by less than 50,000 Nigerians, the remaining millions of Nigerians are languishing in abject poverty, financial lack and survival struggles, that's the truth
