I don't understand it, in the 80s, we would be targeting to answer 35 questions in Mathematics. Only very few ones attempted 40 to 45. They even told us there were negative marks.
Is JAMB getting simpler these days?
Obviously, JAMB is getting simpler for the serious ones!

CBT is much more easier to navigate than paper and pencil tests. The time taken to SOLVE and SHADE one question in Paper and pencil tests could be used to do 3 questions in CBT, especially for someone who practiced and read very well.

98% in Maths and 68% in English. I totally believe this because I faced something similar. I think it is biologically impossible to score exceedingly well in both subjects.
Says who?

I did it!!!

It used to be the Igbos but since ronus are in charge with the hatred for the Igbos, you will never see any Igbo kids with high scores again mark my words.

They should start on a faulty foundation

Weak power, poor internet, ridiculous computers etc

Students exam fees should just burn in the name of testing

Ridiculous thinking nigerians.
was 2g Internet perfect when 3g was introduced? Was 3g perfect when 4g was introduced, now we are using 5g.....if we don't start, then we'll keep making excuses

Are thieves scared of CCTV ? That is news to me . I would imagine thieves are more scared of broken glass on top of a fence .Either way they find a workaround

I was hoping to hear of HOW CCTV being there is impregnable and there is no workaround

Even before lockdown . I was familiar with the concept of doing exams remotely even from home with video monitoring, professional bodies do that these days. That is not new but how is the system tamper proof for an exam like JAMB in a country like Nigeria

I imagine that it is only when there a suspicion of malpractice perhaps from unusual results that footage is monitored in detail

Monitoring video footage takes time to examine when you consider the number of candidates involved. So whilst this may help I do not see it as a revolutionary gamechanger especially if there is collusion with officials as is often the case in Nigeria
I'm not saying cctv isn't impregnable, it has reduced malpractice to a bearest minimum, jamb has several monitoring centres across the nation and has identified several ways in which people try to cheat the system including covering the camera...... Not all thieves fly fence oga mi

Yeah negative marks..lolzz.. meaning u rather leave the questions if you are not sure and it was time bound..was telling someone that in the 90s it was impossicant to score 300...where on earth are this kids getting their over 400 from ?he was arguing.. untill I had to dig deep into the internet before I could get him an answer.

In our days, maybe one or two persons would score 301 or 302, those ones would not rarely write Mathematics. This few ones wrote Biology. Economics was another crazy subject that time.
