To be fair to customs. If they start chasing the traffickers, they will be accused of being busy chasing poor people hustling for their stomach while criminals are busy sabotaging our economy with massive smuggling.

You're right. They need to channel same amount of energy they use on people smuggling contraband out of the country into people trafficking humans out of the country.
