No doubt there’s some PR involved but I think his popularity is organic. I watched the inauguration of Ghana’s president, John Mahama, and Traore received the loudest cheers and ovation.

As for Burkina Faso being a glorified dustbin, that’s due to decades of exploitation by and the West which Traore is now trying to reverse.

Traore has pivoted towards Russia, and this has infuriated the West which has launched their own counter PR using the normal playbook of accusations such as corrupt enrichment, human rights violations, suppression of civil liberties etc.

In all these, it's important to be able to sift through the sponsored propaganda to discern the truth.

Over the past few weeks I've honestly been trying to read about the wrong things Traore has been doing in his country just to see if it's all a smokescreen..

Every time, it's people saying he's paying for PR without actually pointing to his misdeeds.. I'll still keep on searching..

the refinery was commissioned in 2012, and that was the last we heard of it

what you are doing is called an own goal

the refinery is even more dubious than NNPC refinery TAM

the last i of the refinery it was buried underwater in the same 2012 by flooding

in the end that is not a testament to obi's competence, but to his incompetence as a planner , his cluelessness on risk management and his poor understanding of anything outside trading. he did say to soludo 'i am a trader' . anyway, as a project matter, some people got paid, so the 'project' was a success

maybe NNPC consulted on the construction. It has the same vibes as port Harcourt refinery rehabilitation

grin

......even the state's investment in the Breweries don enter voice note. LOL!

Can a student who scored so high a year ago score so low this year? These figures don’t add up and Jamb has a lot of explanations to do because there are a lot of irregular scores flying around.

I mean, I wouldn’t score below 150 if I suddenly wrote jamb this morning.

C bloc of APC has come out to declare their full loyalty and for PBAT's 2nd Term. Atiku knows mumu Coalition has failed. By the way, who is gonna fund the mumu coalition and aspiration?!

Nobody know Niger and Guinea President name so no, there is no propaganda against Traore, just a reaction to his constant lies and brainwashing of Africans

It's got to be a glitch because I see many complaints of such and they specifically mentioned 26th April, apparently wrong answers were attached to questions I hope it is resolved

It is possible.

Have u wondered why will someone score 295 last year not gain ission and have to retake the exam this year? I mean his last year result shows he scored 295 and picked Unilag and LASU as first and second choice respectively.

Did he fail Post Utme last year ? If yes, what makes u think he can’t fail this year JAMB ?

Anybody can get expo to JAMB with high mark and fail post UTME afterwards . Expecting that person to JAMB the next year with the same high scores when he didn’t see expo is definitely mission impossible .

PS: I am not saying with certainty the above was what happened , but I am only pointing to u the possibilities of what could’ve happened. I mean after all , at some point some of us thought Mmesoma was the real deal and JAMB wanted to rain on her parade

I also saw the bolded online but I’m not yet convinced there’s a glitch anywhere . I mean JAMB could literally post results of people who wrote on the same 26th April and we may see hundreds of candidates who also did well. That could knock off that April 26th angle people have been clinging on to .

Expo for JAMB? I highly doubt this. Unless it's is WAEC or any other O'level exams.

I agree with this post 💯.

I believe it is a case of propaganda jam propaganda. It’s just that Traore and Putin are getting more /affection/pity from some young people in Africa who are tired of decades the west had a firm grip on the continent with nothing substantial to show for it.

The west on the other are not ready to hand their cookie jar over to Russia & China and will do anything to punish/condemn/blackmail any African leader being affectionate towards them.

As per ur last paragraph , that is the most difficult thing to do ; sifting through to discern the “truth “ from the propaganda overdrive from both ends.

Back then when we wrote, everybody had the same questions, and we all shaded the objectives, so yes, you can have the expo

These days? Impossicant.

The questions are different. You and I can be sitting down and not be answering the same thing. You cannot even know what you will get.

When I was in the university we had a particular lecturer who would set ing questions and give u different types , yet people found ways to see his questions and arrange answers before the exam. I mean u will be seating with 2 different people and all 3 of u will be doing questions that don’t match each other . In the same exam I saw people glancing at the expo they kept under the desk.

You really underestimate the level some students can go to cheat in an exam. Particularly an exam like JAMB that happens once a year

I know a whole lot of things about some of these exams. I’ve seen a mercenary impersonate someone to write a post UTME that requires biometrics . If they tell u these things are possible , u wouldn’t believe until u see it happen .

There’s a reason JAMB cancels centers almost every year for malpractice

A school is actually a smaller sample for comparison.

I am not saying people cannot cheat, but you really need to have principalities and powers in high places, to stand a chance.

There are different questions for different people, with a countdown timer ticking. So, unless you have a mercenary by your side (which also means having connections), I don't see how you can cheat easily.

If cheating was easy, 1.5 million won't score below 200. Think am na grin

What is more common now is forging results than the actual cheating.

Once u acknowledge cheating is still possible , then u will agree with my initial position that one can actually cheat last year , fail post UTME , fail to secure ission last year , write this year’s JAMB on his own strength and ends up failing . Only to turn back and blame JAMB for this year’s failure

There's definitely some PR and image laundering. The football match with African legends and the fake viral story about how he ordered the arrest of a French company CEO co-enger are clear examples

Semantics! Whether na you toast your wife or na madam toast you, the koko be say una dey in agreement, and in bed together.

The demonization of Russia and the narrative that African countries going into alliance with it does not bode well for them is simply scare tactics propagated by the west to maintain their grip and hold on to their sphere of control and influence. Same thing the west is saying about China and its investments in the continent.

Moreover, as an independent country, Burkina Faso has the right to decide its alliances.

Na you dey swallow western propaganda hook, line and sinker. The AFRICOM commander appeared before a US senate committee and accused Traore and his junta of taking all the gold for themselves. At least, they are Burkinabes right? When was siphoning Burkina Faso's gold, milking and exploiting the country, why hin no talk? Whether you accept it or not, the truth is the west has launched a coordinated counter propaganda against Traore because the milk is no more flowing their way. Simple!

As for the presidents of Niger and Guinea not being known or popular, it's because they lack charisma and do not espouse the bold, fiery rhetoric that threatens the west like Ibrahim Traore.
