If we start Casemiro/Ugarte pivot with Bruno at the 10 we will be giving the initiative to Spurs, and unlike a lot of these other Europa League teams they can load us with early goals.

We should start Casemiro/Bruno pivot and Amad as the right 10. Whoever is in form between Mount/Garnacho/Mainoo should be the left 10.

The way to beat Spurs is to hit them early and throw them into confusion. I don't think these late come backs will work against them.

Exactly my point. For me I will start Amad and Mount in 10, and take the early initiative. We can control the game when we are with the lead rather than having to come back. Spurs is a typical EPL team.

For what's worth, I think the lad has done well so far but i also feel the proper assessment/ real test of his defensive Abilities would be a 2-man CB partnership.

The truth is we have been playing second fiddle to Spurs this season. Besides winning they v dominated , outplayed us. Except that winning spirit of Europa mentality enters us again am afraid for us. Hopefully I will be there live. lf am unable to make it l will watch elsewhere.

Under Amorim in the Europa League, we have played 10 games, won 8 and draw 2.

Contrast to the EPL where we have won just 6 in 24 games with 12 defeats.

Hopefully Amorim sort out the league form next season or else he should be booted out. Nothing concern me with any result in the PL again this season. Just win the Europa and let's start from there.

The two other goals could’ve been prevented as well. They weren’t fantastic, we just weren’t good. I don’t see that as domination.

The 1-0 could have gone either way. We were both struggling for form and had lost loads of games. That game came down to moments as well.

Tottenham may have beaten us thrice this season. But I don’t think they are an exceptional or the gap between us is wide. If not, they’d be in the top 4 instead of languishing down the table with us.

I agree re Zirkzee. With him, we’d be better. Amad still needs minutes so he can be fit and sharp for that final.

I really hope we win and believe we can do it but based on our matches with them this season, I can’t say we will no doubt beat them.

It was a freak result. After the first goal and Bruno’s controversial red card, they just kept the ball for the most part. The remaining two goals could’ve been avoided had our players kept their cool.

I didnt say I have no doubt that we’ll win either. There was a condition attached to that statement but you obviously focuswd on one part.

They’re not that great to be feared. If we perform to our abilities we have a better chance at winning. Then I added that Amad could decide the game for us.
