The issue started because due to the fact that the competition is offering thrash.
Can you compare specs of redmi note 4X back then with the current transsion then?
Now redmi as a biz won't offer a better value at the current price than what the competition is offering.
They have been forced to level to the playing ground of others.

That's why till date people would tell you Chinese model devices of redmi are the best to go for,

Bur when these guys start dropping gbosgbas, and making noises, one can't help but to just smile.

Na the NOW we dey talk. Everyone agrees Transsion was trash years back when Redmi stepped into Nigerian market. Redmi made them step up and they've stepped up really well. Now, it makes perfect sense for someone who even loved Redmi then to contemplate getting a Transsion device over a Redmi one, putting all factors into consideration. Of course, na the end- dey gain las las

Wasn’t that exactly the point I made? Back then, comparing a Transsion phone to a Redmi at any level, whether budget, midrange, or flagship was laughable. Redmi used to wipe the floor with them, no contest.
But now? Transsion’s budget and midrange devices are burying Redmi in those segments. The only battleground left is the /flagship tier, where Xiaomi still holds the edge for now. But with how fast Transsion is evolving, give it 2–3 years and they’ll snatch that crown too. Xiaomi’s lead is on borrowed time.

The Camon 40 premier is proof of what you just said. That phone is good. A little pricey than the competition, but for what it packs, well deserved. I don't know why many are going back and forth in this group. Every dick and harry knows Transsion was trash years back when Xiaomi came to Naija. But now, they've leveled up and done so pretty well. We can say "thanks to Xiaomi" but isn't that what the end craves? Massive competition between phone devices

i need yall advice.... i want to buy a very good phone, but i am confused about which to buy.
1. xiaomi 15 ultra,
2. vivo x200 ultra
3. oppo find x8 ultra
or any doper ones

Cameras would make me go for the Vivo. I don't know about their software though.

Allow the man choose. Just suggest to him. Mi15 seems to do better battery optimization but there are reports of overheating that's why I didn't bring it up initially. Poco F7pro and ultra are solid enough for different uses. If he wants to get Mi 15 or 14, I don't have any problem with it. I can only suggest

The Snapdragon Elite chipset doesn't overheat. I'd also suggest he goes for the Mi 15 than the Poco, since cash isn't his issue. Overall best performance, infact best everything

. I have been using Redmi Note 11 pro +, but the phone fell, and the screen got damaged. I already ordered the screen and back cover from Aliexpress, but once I fix it, I want to transfer my files to a better phone and that is why i want to spoil myself with a better upgrade. I have been a Xiaomi fanboy and a big fan of the second space function in xiaomi because that shit saved me a million times. That Xiaomi 15 ultra is not bad at all and That Vivo is mad, I think it has the best camera now. somebody say s25 ultra, i confuse sha lol. thanks for all you do for this thread genuis43.

Since you love the second space feature on the Xiaomi, getting the 15 ultra makes more sense

Xiaomi 15 has no overheating issues sir. A friend uses it. If you had said Xiaomi 15 Ultra I will say yes. Even my Poco F6 heats way more than the 15. Poco F series packs power with poor cooling systems compared to Xiaomi series.

So when he says budget is not an issue why limit him to the Poco series?
why you guys not recommending Poco x7 pro!
In the poco series this phone is one of the best!
No issues so far so good since it was released on January!

my emphasis is basicly on ba3 life and processor speed not fancy super expensive phone presently am using Poco4 and i enjoyed the ba3 life fro the last 4yrs but its beginning to dwindle; reason for my request

go for Poco x7 pro! That phone is the beast in all round!

The Vivo and Xiaomi currently has one of the best camera systems closely followed by the Oppo. The Vivo has the best Ultra wide sensor of the three. But the question is how many people uses that sensor apart from camera enthusiasts.

I get the S25U sentiments. It is a very balanced phone.

Main camera too and portraits are also better on the vivo from virtually all comparisons I've seen

It's frustrating, like really exhausting using a 2GB ram + 3G network connectivity phone in 2025. Before the phone go boot finish na war, ahbi na the hanging??, Slow changing + fast battery drain?? no be small shege I don see since my phone developed a mother board issue and died on me.

Kai. Sorry boss

He has money to go all the way. The Snapdragon 8 elite and 8 Gen 3 manages heat better than the dimensity 8400u. They are also way more battery efficient.

I had a budget of 160k. I was torn between getting the Redmi 14C which I could get for cheaper then (8/256) and the Itel RS4 (8/256) for exactly 160k on jumia. Thankfully, I got two friends who used both. Slot in my Sims for a week each and it was clear which phone someone with common sense will choose. I went for the Itel. Leave brand name alone.

Gone are the Days when the community use to mock Transsion devices, Reverse is the case now, they're stepping up to standard now.

Transsion step up and challenge it.

Yh he can go for the Mi15. Poco F7 ultra also uses snapdragon 8 elite. He had a good experience with his Poco device that's why I recommended F7 pro and ultra

Makes sense. Since his priority is battery and performance, these two phones, especially the F7 pro with its 6000 mah battery

you came in the right bus stop that's the phone I'm presently using! And I can confidently tell you this phone is the beast!
The only downside I can tell you is the front camera cry cry real bad front camera!
You won't be even comfortable taking pictures with the front camera because you will be seeing your face as potato 🥔, hence potato front camera!

But the back camera is super awesome 👍😎 and very good together with his video department.

For the processor department! I haven't experience any lacking or overheating issues so far so good! And I do play some games like cod and delta force on ultra graphics and the phone give out no issues at all and can handle all tasks with ease ( thou my is the 12/256 GB option)

The first time I brought it was having a battery drain issue which the battery is 6000mah but with recent updates the battery got optimised and I can tell you the battery can last longer. I don't have any issues with the battery so far so good!

So far so good I don't think you will see any good phone than this with this price range ( this I can confidently tell you) there's no phone as good as this with this price range in 2025. ( Unless some unscrupulous infinix and Tecno agents talked you in to buy their products! Even the new infinix note 50pro isn't even Half as good as this with the same price range)

If you are those bootloader tamperer fans!
I don't think this phone is for you because of the mtk processor.

This phone Came out since January and I'm jet to see real negatives reviews like hardware issues or phone lagging or over heating issues! This just show how good the phone is!

For me this phone is performing well better than your present president Bola Ahmed tinubu
