The United States Department of State has introduced a revised fee schedule for non-immigrant visa applications.

This update affects all U.S. embassies and consulates, including those in Abuja and Lagos, and will impact thousands of Nigerian and international applicants seeking temporary entry into the U.S.

Important Notes for Nigerian Applicants

The changes do not affect immigrant visa categories, which are intended for individuals planning to live permanently in the U.S. and pursue lawful permanent residence (Green Card).

For Nigerians and other global applicants, it is now more important than ever to the current visa fee and payment procedures before starting an application. Applicants are advised to ensure all payments and ing documents are accurate and up to date to avoid delays in processing.

What is the essence of paying these exorbitant Visa Fess and still get denied the Visa at the Embassy, especially now that Trump is even revoking immigrants valid Visas and sending them back to their Countries ?

You know what I think?

I’d rather stay in my Country or relocate to Burkina Faso because I know that the head of Amerika is not correct - literarily!

Super cheap cool

Which one is super cheap. FYI this is a non immigrant visa. In every 100 people who apply they will not give more than 10 people and you can't contest the outcome

But in every 100 applying for Immigrant visa it is sure they will give 99 of them the 1 percent can still contest or simply do a DNA test to confirm if is truly she is your mother or siblings

185 dollar is still fair, Nigeria exchange rate makes it look like it's exorbitant. They should just reduce the rejection rates.

In few years to come many people will line up begging to get a visa to Burkina Faso, Mali, guinea Chad and Niger. We will call them military dictators, but the path they have taken has proven that those military men are really thinking about the well being of the masses and the next generation, while Nigerian leaders are only thinking about money and the next election. Pray from now till eternity, Nigeria will never progress under this system of government which only subject the masses to a high level of poverty, providing a safe landing ground for politicians to loot the nation dry.
