Nope. The only issue is, they might crow at odd times...like 2am when everyone is sleeping. grin

I really don't mind

We humans can learn from them

Just imagine 3000 layers crying out for afternoon food but then you are broke!

Or imagine one nasty turkey laughing in one room when you are selling out your broilers and then just say *"these customers don't even know the quantity of drugs oga dey give these broilers!"*

I lost my Fulani Chicken I bought for 4k naira yesterday due to illness.
It was painful losing it. My chicken coop is 50% completed. With good housing, managing chickens during this rainy season should be easy.

Whoa! I didn't know this. A lady suggested we start feeding them with waste from pap and the chickens didn't eat it. They would taste it, shake their heads and walk away. Thank God we stopped trying to make the eat it.

The best way to process corn chaff from pap is to treat it like garri.

Sun drying will not kill all the microbes and worms in the corn chaff

1. Seive it in that board wire mesh net they use to seive garri... (Use big plastic seiver .. the type they use to drain water from cooked rice, if you don't have garri siever... Just wipe the clogged pieces through the seive with some force, everything will go through)

2. Fry it in pan... As if frying garri. (If you don't have pan, use big pot over gas, but it'll take time if the quantity is much)

It's totally safe to use after frying with heat like that

It'll turn out like grounded guguru after the frying. Den no born fowl well make den no rush am wink

LMAO! This reminds me of one stunted growth rooster I had for a while...no one wanted to buy it. Even though it was small, its crow was very loud. One night, I couldn't sleep cos I was just thinking of how it is disturbing my neighbors. I prayed that night for solution, and I woke the next day to a knock at the gate. Some landlords in the area came to talk to us in the house, and one of them bought the chicken, I was so happy grin

Another time, I had two big male noilers that used to crow back to back, so loud. I started taking them out of the cage and locking them in one short cupboard overnight. They have to stand to crow, and they can't stand in that cupboard, so they couldn't crow

Sorry for the loss. I always hear about these Fulani chickens, but have never really seen one.
