Same in my area at Igeshu Ayobo Alimosho area of Lagos state, can you imagine the PHCN agreed with the community to purchase a refurbished transformer that cost #9M and charging us with accessories to connect for #11M.A small community with total building not up to 70 houses.Presently, each building is subject to pay #100k each.Alimosho both federal and state house should please come to our aid, this is one of your responsibility why you represent us, it's not ideal for community to purchase a transformer and PHCN later come with bills.

Lanretoye: Lagos is 50years head of every state u think of. See your mouth, as if you are adding any economic value to Lagos. Oga Lagos is a metropolitan state, all other states have their citizens invested in Lagos, hence if they pullout from Lagos, that your poor state you hail from will even be better than Lagos. Know this and have peace!! 3 Likes |

NwaIgboBoy:since you were born when did you see your governor commission ordinary school?,have your children that never moved out of the south easy seen a moving train before?,this one that knows no shame is talking.what business thrives in your state, mention one.90% of those of you who have better quality education need to travel away from your east, same as healthcare, same as employment opportunities and in fact every ramifications of life and indices. You can also brag about your cemetery states where you are being laid to rest after working all your meaningful life outside the region. |

Lanretoye: I have told you accept the truth and have peace. You make so much noise of owning Lagos, whereas no economic value u bring to the state. Upto 89% businesses in Lagos isn't u, taxes U no dey pay, better house u no dey leave, upto 72% houses in Lakki, Banana island are owned from non-indigenes. Value added to Lagos u are barely found. Ebgon mi, ejuo! I must reiterate to you Lagos is a metropolitan and cosmopolitan state. Let me break it down for you, Lagos is a big open state made and developed by majorly Yoruba, Igbo, and Europeans/Asians. I'm not here to define which tribe, only to educate YOU. Know this and have peace, unlearn whatever thing u learnt out of envy. OSHE gon!! Have a nice day bro. But walahi I miss Lagos o, enjoyed that state those years in Nigeria, with my best guys Tayo and Adeyemi na so we go dey club every Friday for Quilox and RanDulf clubs. ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

How people can live in that environment without electricity for five months is beyond me to comprehend. I was in Lagos recently and there was power outage for four days, to me, it was unbearable despite the fact that I had solar. The heat plus mosquitoes, if this is not synonymous to hell, I don't know what is. Practically everything we do these days need electricity. This persistent power outages will never make the news, rather everything on the news is Politics, house of Senate, House of rep, PDP, APC bla bla. Only recently there was power outage in Portugal and some parts of Spain and it was all over the news worldwide. ARE WE SUBHUMAN OR WHAT ? We have been conditioned to suffering and living a subsistence life that we now take as norm. The problem here is when another election cycle comes around the politicians will throw bread crumbs to the masses and they in turn will do their bidding. What a country. |

uvie66: Conditioning of the mind. If you cage a human and feed him like a dog long enough, he starts thinking like one, now imagine if his offspring meet the same condition. Any new information contrary to thier new reality becomes a lie or wishful thinking. That's the short story of the Nigerian Masses. |
