Yes, that's how treasury Bills work. They pay you your Interest upfront, then reTurn back your principal at end of tenure.

In other words, at end of the Tenure, they would return back your 50-Million naira. As for your Interest, they already paid that to you.
What if they didn't pay the principal at maturity date ,will they give interest for extended days
enque(f): 10:43pm On Apr 27
No additional interest, as delays are not usually typical.

Mutual funds is still an option. She will be paid the interest monthly into a different bank if she wants.

It can act as a monthly salary to her. She can earn between 80k to 100k monthly from the 5 million

So far,no single issue encountered, all smooth! I get my interest upfront!

30days interest is 19.5%
6months is my 25%
1year is 26%
2years is 28%

For now, they got the highest interest rate so far.
does it mean that if I invest 1 million for 30 days then I will get 195,000 as interest?

What he meant was 19.5% APY. This implies that for 30 days, you will get 195000 divided by 12 and you will get whatever the answer will be. give or take for 30 days ..🤔

This is absolutely not normal, my matured tb was credited last Thursday. Something is fishy, are you sure you've not been scammed by whoever did for you? Do you have your investment certificate?,did you tick reinvestment on your form, also double check the maturity date.

Yes, I know. I'm just asking if email serves as certificate.

PS: I'm not the person that complained of funds not dropping upon maturity.

Ok, was thinking you same person, email from your bank is still certificate for that transaction.

Enjoy your ROI

The notification confirming TBills investment suffice. However, some asset manager or investment platform usually attached pdf document replicating information in the image of the email.

which platform did you use for the Treasury Bill investment? Platform like i-invest that I used for MMFD is mes big time can't access my fund at the crucial point I need it.

It does seem it's now bank dependent. Many banks recently asked their customers to update their NIN on their details before they are able to receive money. Even money usually comes frequently like salary were not paid to those customers until they did the NIN update. Your bank maybe one of such but you didn't notice.

So, you should just do your part and finish the update. Once the update is done and you still don't see your money, then you should write them and copy CSCS and DMO. Their official addresses are on their websites.

why not just put it in MoneMarket Fund pending when you have a better alternative.

At interest rate of at least 20%, She should expect anywhere from 83,000 Naira Monthly.

Mind you, no investment is Risk free; just that some are much lower
