Peter Obi Should Forget About SW Votes In 2027 (1894 Views)

I don't think that Obi is under any illusion of winning in the South West any more than Tinubu is under any illusion of winning in the South-East

gidgiddy: No serious presidential candidates would rely on South East votes which is inconsequential. 2015, 2019, 2023 elections proved that. I do not even expect president Tinubu to campaign in South East for the 2027 election. It's purely waste of time |

The south Easterners are my closest neighbour because I am from the south south. They migrate like the Fulanis so any sane person living in Lagos should know that they constitute about 1/3 of total Lagos population and they are predominantly the 2nd largest population apart from the indigenous people of almost every state in Nigeria they are found. So, people should mind how they talk and if the South East voting strength is viewed from the 5 South Eastern states, such category of people are thinking from their anus.

gidgiddy: That's why we are telling you people to keep your votes. We don't need it All the analysis I have been making about 2027, did you see me mentioning SE? No because we never expected votes from there 1 Like |

Tinubu should forget about north and south east 2027

helinues:I don't see reason why a private citizen's life became your headache if there's no ulterior motive behind it. Tinibu has been holding lagos state to ransom since 1999 till date yet, you and your likes turned a blind eye to that. Nigeria has crumbled under tinibu yet you and your likes don't deem it fit to say something in condemnation concerning that. How do you now expect we the reasonable nairalanders to take you and your yeye conversation serious? Where did tinibu get the money that filled those two bullion vans during the 2019 presidential election if not in lagos coffers? |

gidgiddy: Are we just talking South East or igbo votes in all places and platforms where igbos are domiciled. The igbos in the north alone is about a state population likewise igbos in Lagos |

If Tinubu that had the worse governorship tenure known in Nigeria, or Buhari the failure of all time could be president even from the same SW, then your postulation is not clear. Rather just say you want to use tribalism to vote..😹🤡 |

aswani: Hehehehehe ![]() ![]() ![]() You must think you’re dealing with kids here! This is how it works: promise those ‘daft’ Igbo that you’ll consider them to be president only if they ‘worship’ and are ‘subservient’ to your godfather and ‘serve’ APC diligently! This was the same dummy you sold the gullible likes of Ogbonnaya Onuh, Okorocha, Umahi, Kalu, Amaechi, and the youngish Igbo minister in the then Buhari gov’t whose name escapes me at the moment! Discerning observers would have noticed how, as soon as it’s getting to the turn of a Igbo to take their turn in a political arrangement, that all of a sudden the rules will change in the middle of the game, or they will have the carpet snatched from beneath their feet as they all come tumbling to the ground ayakata! It happened in 1983 with the Buhari coup when they saw Ekwueme was poised to succeed Shagari, and it happened again in 2023 when the emilokan set connived to shunt Ndigbo/south-east to the curb and steal their turn! Dude, try another trick! This one is old and worn out! ![]() |

franchasng: Good questions! But regarding the bolded, it’s all about stalling for time, just like Buhari before him did! Then when there’s no time left to make the needed changes to the electoral laws, he will say they should leave it till AFTER the 2027 elections just so he can rig in peace! ![]() He’s not politically daft….i’ll say that much for him! Allowing new electoral laws that plug all the loopholes to come into effect BEFORE 2027 would be like g his death warrant, and akin to turkeys voting for Christmas or rams voting for Sallah! ![]() 1 Like 1 Share |

helinues:The lagos vote is enough for him.We are aligning with north and never SW. We know the true enemy. |
aswani(m): 12:47pm On Apr 30 |
IGBOPROMISE1: First off, how can Ekwueme succeed Shagari when at no point did he have a base in the party? Abiola, Dikko and Akinloye, those were the big hitters that were primed to take over from Shagari. Not that I care about NPN and their useless politics. If people pulled the rug under those guys, that's a shame, hopefully the next set of people are mindful of their mistakes. You might think Bianca and Soludo are daft igbo, I think they are primed to lead the country at some point and my prayer is foolish obidients don't derail their career. |

00FFT00: How old are you? Because it seems you were still in primary school when Peter Obi was Anambra state governor. With all the horrible and terrible records he had, you are not even comparing Peter Obi with a local government chairman in Lagos state. Stop the kidney and go and play with sand This is the record of una hero. Horrible and terrible one for that matter https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing?s=08 |
