I too like this my church Call it old school or old fashion, if all this new generation churches have some guidelines to tame the nonchalant attitudes of our GenZ era, lots wouldn't be happening. I also love the fact that the church permits you to wed in another church if you're not ready to follow their principles, then come back with your wife if you like. A serious minded AG church will not lower the standard for any reason, and it helps. Simple instruction, just follow or gtf 36 Likes 1 Share |

What happens to our traditional marriage? I've noticed that many Nigerians are opting for church weddings. It’s time we confidently embrace our traditional African customs. While peace may not always be assured, we would be honoring our ancestors and celebrating our rich heritage. ![]() ![]() ![]() 17 Likes |

Lol everything I see there isn't that bad is all about morality.... Just a single night to your wedding in Church and pregnancy test isn't bad buh what do I know the bride will rather want to spend the night at a bar with her friends calling it bachelors eve.... Since the bride agree to the and conditions I see no reason why she failed to show up so the bride is at fault.... 3 Likes 1 Share |

keep deceiving yourself in other to give church bad name. Which church would order bride to abandon all her visitors and preparations on the eve of her wedding day at home, by telling her to come and night in parsonage? Trust miscreants, they won't use their God given common senses before attacking like lunatics. 13 Likes 1 Share |

The practice is funny but what is the bride afraid of. You knew all these rules before agreeing to wed in the said church. So I cannot blame the church. 2 Likes |

As an African Traditional Marriage is what brought your linage into existence. If you allow "White Man Doctrine" to cause your dis-union. Then you all don't deserve to marry and reproduce more *ools and sheep like minded people into this world. We already have enough... 5 Likes 2 Shares |

You agreed to the rule. So stick to it. But must the counselling be done in the parsonage overnight? 3 Likes |

spencekat: At least she has been informed. For her to even consider marrying there means she's been there for long or maybe she was even raised there. Before she even go against the doctrine, I'm 100% sure someone must have reminded her again what the church expects from her. Just follow the instruction or forget about wedding in the church. They is no point trying to give the church a bad name because u feel you can change things 4 Likes |
