Prince Al-Waleed, a member of the Saudi royal family, has been in a coma since a car accident in 2005 while he was studying. Even though doctors said there was little hope, his father chose to keep him on life , believing that he might wake up one day.

Despite medical advice to end life , his father declined, holding on to hope for recovery. Prince Al-Waleed, the great-grandson of Saudi Arabia's founder King Abdulaziz, continues to receive life in Riyadh. His family remains hopeful.

The Prince remains unaware of the years gone by, tethered to life through machines at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh.

Despite medical advice to end life , his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, stood firm in his belief. "If God had wanted him to die in the accident, he would have been in his grave now," he said, choosing instead to continue the fight for his son’s life.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, though a member of the Saudi royal family, is not a direct son or brother of the current monarch.

His grandfather, Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was one of the many sons of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the founding monarch of modern Saudi Arabia. This lineage makes Prince Al-Waleed a great-grandson of King Abdulaziz.

Nothing wrong with hoping. People have woken up from longer comas. For example Munira Abdulla, a woman from the United Arab Emirates, woke up from a coma after 27 years.
She had a car accident in 1991 and woke up in 2018.

The amazing thing is that they still bath, feed(nutrient rich fluid piped into the abdomen), turn the body from one side to another(to prevent muscular atrophy) and evacuated faeces from someone in coma. As you can see above, the young man is growing older and fatter.

60 years ago, the guy would have been allowed to die because the tech to keep him alive like that did not exist.

But now we have the tech to keep brain ded people alive indefinitely. The question is, do we need to.? Do we have to? Should we give families unnecessary hope?

I ire the father's fortitude, but his son is not coming back. He should give the instruction to the medical staff to let him die properly.

Do you all know that if Prince Al-waleed's father could accept JESUS CHRIST as his LORD and SAVIOR and believe that his son would be awaken by LORD JESUS CHRIST, He will surely wake up?
