I am traveling for a conference, for the visa application I want to book a flight, but it seems most of the airlines want me to pay. Which airline doesn't require me to pay, just booking.??

The Canadian embassy does not require any ticket booking as a requirement to get visa approval. Just show of ur trip, proof of funds, a work letter, property documents, and any home ties, etc. Also, applying or paying any non-refundable conference fee does not guarantee that you will be issued a visa, as Canada is now very strict with visa issuance. The rejection rate for India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria is extreme, as these three countries are notorious for canada visa abuse and if u have no good travel history then u have low chance! Good luck!

If the IRCC thinks you are eligible, they will still grant you a visa. Whether or not the vacation or visitation period you provided in your application has already elapsed or ed is irrelevant to them.

Oh, OK. Sounds better.
Thanks boss.

The boss is deceiving you as ircc go turn ur application money to revenue generation becos the era of using conference or tourist visit visa with zero travel experience to get canada visa approval is over and no let any agent deceive u the refusal rate is massive!

How am I deceiving him? All I said was that IRCC will issue a visa if they think the man is eligible. We all know that the refusal rate is high, but some lucky folks are still getting it, even those with zero travel history.

I helped my sister and her daughter apply in November. Their visas were approved in February. Her only travel history was Ghana.

Her itinerary was February 10 to 19. Going on vacation with her child.

Booked 2 hotels to spend 5 nights in Toronto and 4 nights in Montreal.

Her balance then was 7.3 million naira and $2200 in a domiciliary .

I ignored that guy for a reason especially when I read the part where he alluded to me having a zero-travel experience.

Mr. Visa Agent, you're always coming up with the same cock and bull story about applying for a family member for over three years. It's the same recycled tale of a "successful" application for some elderly relative, and some gullible readers still fall for it.
To those who have already been refused,go ahead and him if you like, but know this: there's no magic involved, and you're likely to be refused again. Please be smart and save your money..

Hello house,
My sister was denied VV this month with the reason that no string home ties, POF, and the purpose of the visit is not consistent…. and it’s a second denial, she’s still young and haven’t attended university before, can she apply to a school in Canada now and also apply for study visa? All families are here in Nigeria, she’s not working yet but my mum will be the sponsor.

Please how do we go about it?

Firstly, are you a Canadian resident or citizen? What is the reason for applying and reapplying for a visitor visa for your younger sister, and then suddenly planning to switch to a student visa? Just so you're aware, the student visa route is neither cheap nor an easy pathway to visa approval or permanent residency, so if you're planning to go with the student visa option, make sure you’re well-prepared.

I don't know why you're derailing from the main conversation.

What I said is that if an applicant is eligible for a visa, the IRCC will give the visa even if the date of vacation has ed.

I am not an agent, and no one from this forum has ever ed me for help apart from the normal comments we all do here.

I used the little knowledge I have to help my family and friends. Do I get it all the time? The answer is NO.

This year alone I have chopped 1 refusal from the UK, 1 from Canada, and 2 from Ireland.

All we do is continue to fire up. We lose some and win some.

As an applicant, it's important to look at the situation realistically, especially given the current trends in Canada, rising asylum claims and high visa refusal rates.
Let’s be honest: a young lady with no post-secondary education, no employment history, and only parental sponsorship applying for a visitor visa to Canada .if you were the visa officer, would you approve that application?
We need to stop wasting money on applications that don't align with the current realities. A better approach would be to focus on building a strong academic or professional profile before applying.
Please this 2025 and ircc is more strict as immigration is now a big issue in canada!

You will book for Biometrics after submitting your application, you will be redirected to VFS website to book your biometrics appointment

Can+ is programmed for those who have visited US, have a valid, or expired US visa. The benefit is that in most cases, your Canada visa processing time is fast and you submit very few documents.
You are only qualified if you have a valid or expired US visa!

Does it also apply if the US visa is yet to be used?

Not necessarily. As long as the US visa is valid, you are good to go. All the best.
