Argentina had worst problems than ours at the same inception. Argentina added about 38 billion dollars. In contrast, Nigeria lost almost 50% of its GDP under the same 2 years period.

Nigeria was once the country with the largest economy in Africa and one of the fastest growing economy in the world in 2014. Hence it a leadership problem. To think that some dunceheads took it to the abyss today is really a sorry thing for this nation.

"Widen the tax net, reduce their purchasing power and slow down the economy...... "
When you hear the likes of Reno Omokri and the swathes of activated govt lying machine talking, then you wonder why the distortion of facts is the most ingrained trait of anyone in the APC?

Lying with reckless abandon! No honesty or integrity whatsoever! Suddenly they started chopping statistics so as to do damage control

APC and tinubu promise to continue from where buhari stopped, and he's truly committed to the promises.

My problem with APC, why are they complaining of inheriting a bad government.

What Tinubu has for you is to do little touches here and there, settle his cronies and those elites that ed him and finally syphon the much he can before retirement....!!

All indexes points to mismanagement of Nigeria's economy since the past 10 year.
This is an Argentina that went through a more complicated economic problems yet their government were able to manage theirs and the economy is growing but here you'll see people defending incompetency.
Our government has been irresponsible and when Nigerians talk they'll say "Nigerians have been programmed to hate their country" or "you're the enemy of Nigeria" whereas, without them knowing, they who are ing irresponsible leaders blindly are the true enemies of Nigeria.
May God help us....one day, Nigeria will get it right but until then let's continue to hope.

Tinubu has never had any blueprint on how to govern Nigeria. The worst Nigeria ever had.

Here's a simple explanation:

In 2023, Nigeria's economy (measured by GDP) was worth about $364 billion. But by 2025, it's expected to drop to about $188 billion — that's almost half gone in just 2 years. This sharp fall is linked to major changes (called economic reforms) the government is making.

Also, if you divide the country's total wealth by the number of people (GDP per capita), it shows how much wealth the average person could have. In 2015, it was around $2,729. By the end of 2025, it’s expected to fall to just $807. That means, on average, Nigerians are getting poorer, not richer.

So in simple : Nigeria's economy is shrinking fast, and the average Nigerian is earning much less than they did 10 years ago.

A huge chunk of the economic fall came via gross borrowings and subsequent diversions of d funds to miscellaneous s, white-elephant projects and wrong priorities such as oil search efforts in the northern axis by the Buhari regime.

Naira was so much weakened due to accumulated loans and unwillingness to diversify and expand exports.

Tinubu carried the debris of the collapse. He (Tinubu) has been able to stabilize the Naira relatively.

However, he has not been able to tackle corruption, accessible and affordable utilities such as electricity, efficient telecoms, water etc which are the variables for powering the economy.

Tinubu tried to bring Nigeria to reality. Argentina currently owes IMF more than any other country in the world.

Tinubu is the worst disaster Nigeria has ever encountered. The bad thing is that he wants a second term to inflict more pains on Nigerians and build roads for ghosts of Nigerians who died of hunger and suffering.

Ah, Argentina is the real Kasongo here. What this data doesn't tell you is how much Argentina has spent and borrowed to defend/subsidize their currency against the dollar in the period. The fake life they expect us to live and be raising our shoulders in the name of GDP. No be only GDP, na PDAPC.

Everyone is aware that our economy is in a comatose state, including foreign and indigenous investors, nobody will sink funds into a drowning economy.

Tinubu himself ran abroad for ordinary medical checkup, dat should tell you how bad the health sector alone is.
