if i may comment, I'll say lying is part of the lifestyle of 98% of men. So for me i think if you trully love him, you can manage him and also try to change him. Always be encouraged by his good side, like they say everyone has their good sides no matter how bad they seem.

This is my personal submission oooo. I rest my crayon!!!

She's a international Retired Hoe. I was devastated when I found out about her past. She opened up to me later about it claiming she's changed which I doubt.

She said she can't cook...and was unwilling to learn.

Not that it's much of a big deal for me because I can make my own meals and all that.

I just didn't think it was feasible for me to be cooking after work or employing maids straight from honeymoon when I'm not dating— and by extension, marrying the queen of Sheba.

Especially when your family is around.
Are you the one that will enter kitchen to cook without your family reading another meaning to it.

She got involved in exam malpractice. Got to know because she was caught.

Prior, I never knew she could do such a thing.

I just can't do anything serious with that kind of person.

Never been in love, not to talk of madly. But I find it off-putting when chatting with a girl feels like an interrogation. Is your life so empty that you cannot start or sustain a conversation.

"How was your day"
"Fine"
"Did anything eventful happen"
"No"

Fùck out of here undecided

As how?

I don't understand.

Cooking is the duty of men. It's not a matter of feasibility or option- it's non-negotiable.

If it comes to it, you leave your job to be able to focus on your matrimonial duties at home. That's the first and true purpose of any man.

So you'll continue breaking up relationships with women if you keep meeting women who can't cook?

And you'll keep getting older and wasting time?

I don't know who has deluded a lot of you modern men o. Thinking you have choice and standards lmao.

If you don't learn how to compromise or the act of making sacrifices for a relationship, you will grow old and grey in your mother's house.

If you don't learn how to compromise or the act of making sacrifices for a relationship, you will grow old and grey in your mother's house.

While you made salient points, I sadly do not share in your worldview.
As a traditional man, I even find them laughable because they're the direct opposites of what constitutes my duties in a family.

My primary role is to make provisions for and protect my family— among other things, and I don't know what other matrimonial duties I should be leaving that for.

I really want to believe you were farming a needless argument with the other parts about choice and standards, getting old, wasting time, greying under Mama's roof and similar lines because they don't apply to a man—in real life, save for a poor old man.

It's still a wet, calm and dewy morning.
If you go outside, grab a handful of grass and sniff it, it might return to your consciousness that the only thing men need most times to marry women is just a stack of money and a picture of what looks like comfort.
It's immaterial whether the man is 89 marrying a 19.
That should put things in proper perspective.

Not to deviate, I do not see value in marrying someone who can't do something as basic as cooking...and is unwilling to learn.
And I'd rather be that uncle wey no get wife than live with all that burden all my life.

Well, you no go understand...maybe na my fault, I no too explain the situation.

And no, wasn't exam jitters. Exam jitters sef no be excuse to cheat. E dey catch all of us. In 2008 abi 2009, I ran into some very difficult troubles in the exam hall of Chem 260. This is advanced organic chemistry. Truth was that I didn't read that thing well, so, was my fault. Now, if you know me, you'd find that I'm easygoing, a lot of times, I go out of my way to be of help to others. So, this has put me in a position where people would easily want to help me...if I just ask. I now that I been dey front row, beside me was Chinasa, one of the hot heads. She was just writing pages upon pages. If I had asked her, she for easily show me...the invigilators were a bit relaxed...most were senior students in the department. Everyone knew that that course dey worry students well, well.

But, I no ask Chinasa anything. I just lock up, did the best I could and hoped for the best. I had 40/100, an E, but I ed, didn't need to go back to write that thing.

So, exam jitters and troubles are common...not not all students dey cheat.

In my books, cheating is very deep. It is an act of dishonesty. At the time, I wasn't just looking for a girlfriend. I wanted someone I could work out life with, a longterm stuff, a wife.

I noticed this lady at the beginning of the semester, approached her and all that. She tell me say she go give me after exams. So, I was just waiting for the . But when I noticed that she was cheating (I sat behind her in the hall), I was immediately turned off. Exam continued until Mr. Israel caught her and created a big scene. I was immediately uninterested in her.

And I wasn't wrong about her. Throughout the program, she cheated in quite a number of tests and exams...she and her group of friends. And many other things that I later realized...mannerism, dress code, etc.

I hold no grudge against her, I'm not judging her either. Me sef no perfect. I just have things I can't deal with just like any other human wey get things him no go fit deal with.

In the early part of the next semester, I ran into another lady who quickly became my very close friend. We remained friends until graduation, and in 2014, we got married. We are 11 years now in marriage, 4 children. Each time I look back, I smile with deep thanks to God for leading me to my wife.

This other lady is equally happy and she's doing well. She has got a master's degree, married with wonderful children, she and hubby now have a school and all is perfect.

So, it's a win-win for both of us, and I hold no grudges against her whatsoever. We still chat once in a while on Facebook, and we react to each other's posts when needed.

She just wasn't my type of person, maybe I too was not her type, and this doesn't make any of us bad. Na so life be.

I appreciate your courtesy, but being in that situationship was synonymous to paddling punctured and damaged canoe over the North Atlantic ocean.
