He said if he fails to, he should not be voted into power come 2027. The video began making rounds as a budget of ₦10 billion was earmarked for providing solar power for Aso Rock, after the istration oversaw the cost of petrol, the widely used fuel for alternative power source for Nigerians, rise to as much as four figures in some parts of Nigeria, the highest cost surge for petrol ever recorded. Also, the cost of electricity soared to its highest ever, as many citizens pay as high as ₦209.50 per kWh. With the average household requiring 20 Kwh per day, monthly cost of electricity can be put at ₦125,700, almost twice the minimum wage. It appears Nigerians have been left to their fates as Aso Villa looks to abandon the high fuel cost and electricity cost/unreliability for solar power.
