Self learn, use the money you want to spend on learning to create a startup, I am sure what you want to learn is already become easier through AI

Traditional programming means developers writing code manually. That part had already become obsolete as you may hardly see a developer writing code manually unless for the sake of learning.
Some part of that will be automated but there are some things that AI can't do.
-AI can suggest but can't think critically.
-You still need a developer to define the input
-Developers are still needed for oversight and reviewing AI generated code
Programming will never be done by non technical person even with the emergence of AI. A lot of knowledge is required more than before for you to use the AI tool and argument it's output.
AI is not magic is a tool that is trained based on large data.

In the next few years AI will become more intelligent and think critically.

Everything that has been achieved to this point you all have doubted

Self learn? If he's motivated enough, yes. But creating a startup? To what end? Startups need to have a purpose and if you are fueled by success stories, it takes years and it's grueling. There's mostly input before you break even then scale.

Viral startup stories on X have people thinking it's big bucks immediately.

All he needs is right mindset, persistent mind, understand how to scale, startup does not always mean something that will be big but something that create value and has corporate signature, it's the best option for someone that does not have higher education, as long as there is an advantageous problem to solve, a mentor that can help navigate through easy and hard times, he is good to go. Startup is just anything you start with the intention of creating value, a church can even be one, a community can be one, even a religious organization. The idea is push your money into something that add value to others, let the street and marketplace experience educate you instead of classroom. So it's not always about tech, even though tech is the easiest option, do you understand

Tech is not the easiest option. Tech is grueling. You'd break even quick doing FCMG business than tech. You'd get 30 million then do a runway of 6 months and still lose everything.

Tech startups being easy to make money is the biggest lie told about startups.

You should startup circles on X where we openly share these truths, including the many failures and some success. Startup blogs or blogs generally ignore the real stories. 90% of startups fail. It's higher in tech.

You should read up from successful VCs like Iyin Abodeji and Paul Graham of Y Combinator on X to get these depressing stories. Tech is no quick cash venture. Except you are building a fantasy to get VC money like many Nigerian fintech startups do.

I still belief tech is the easiest,I understand what you are talking about and the angle you are coming from, read my earlier comment again and think about it. What business can you start presently in Nigeria that can be scaled from as low as 500k to 1 million naira, You are coming from the angle of VCs and Angels I am not coming from that angle. In tech you can merely start with a friend, a laptop that is not new, learn a skill on YouTube and build a business around it. Carefully comprehend what I wrote again

By that that time then not just developers a lot of roles will be taking by AI. Doctors, engineering roles etc. almost 90% of what humans can do then the AI can do better.
So it's not programmers alone
