So with a staff strength of over 11000, nobody really knows what CBN pays categorically but FIRS with similar staff strength has its pay all over this thread. CBN must be doing something right or operating like CIA🤔. Never really seen what CBN pays here, just rumours. Happy good Friday guys 💪🏽

As at 2023, CBN salary was 400k without upfront or allowances in your first year before confirmation. After confirmation, monthly salary drops to 290k but you will start getting upfront of 3.5M and other allowances that sums up to about 8M. The first upfront after confirmation is paid twice too.

When people talk about NIMASA, I just laugh because it's not the same Nimasa that I know, even their staffs rank NPA higher. If there is a salary difference, it will be a little different from what people here say. Can you compare a director in Nimasa to a port manager in NPA? At NPA, the port manager makes more money with ease.first, with Nimasa likely earning somewhat more, but I can guarantee you that NPA will pay off in the end. You have a better chance of ing NPA than NIMASA, and if Nimasa is hiring 200 people, NPA will hire about 800. There are some departments within NPA where you might never have to touch your salary while working there. Firs is a good place to work. When individuals complain about their employees taking out loans, they should be aware that Nimasa, NUPRC, and CBN employees also take out loans. The reason for this is because banks provide their employees of large agencies favourable loan rates that can be readily withdrawn from salaries and allowances without causing them undue stress. I know a lot of FIRS employees who are doing better than NIMASA employees, so it's not about where you work but rather how you use and handle your income.

I only know they employ people every eke market day. I don't know how often they collect CV. You can try submit at the Lagos office. NAMA is more difficult to get but better pay.
