Please I need advice. I’ve been working with Greenacy NGO for almost a year now. The pay is actually pretty good, which is nice. But honestly, the job can sometimes be overwhelming. My oyibo boss is super detail-oriented, and I have to double-check everything I do.

Now, I just got a job offer from the Nigerian Embassy here in Ghana (where I live). My friend already works there, and from what he says, it’s super chill. He barely goes to work, and when he does, he comes back early. If I take that job, I’ll have a lot more free time to focus on my personal hustle.

So should I continue with this NGO because of the good pay, or take the embassy job where I have more free time?

It depends on you and what you want.. NGO pays more but with less free time while Embassy work will give you time to do other things, but not much pay.
From your writeup, it seems you're tired of the NGO job.. you can leave and take up Embassy job provided you have side hustle

Thanks a lot for the advice. As someone who has been an entrepreneur all my life, 9-5 salary work sometimes seems overwhelming. Thanks once again.

Please, has anyone been ed from Greenacy after the Evaluation assessment taken on Sunday, as they promised to get back on Thursday 17th April, 2025, but I didn't hear from them. Thanks

This is such a real situation—choosing between a high-paying but demanding job and one that gives you more freedom. A lot of people face this kind of decision at some point. It shows how work-life balance and personal goals can pull us in different directions. It’s interesting to see how people weigh comfort, ambition, and peace of mind.

Hi. Please, I've just been mailed that I progressed to the final round of the hiring process. Can you please help with tips for success? I also have a challenge with the notarization thing. Is there a workaround please? Thank you.
