Your comment reminded me of an experience when I prostrated for everybody (my dad's friends) at the table who were yoruba but extended hand to shake the only igbo in their company. Call it what you may but there's a warm feeling this type of greeting does to your heart no matter which tribe you're from. This is indeed a significant issue because we have certain tribe in Nigeria where people disrespect their parents to the extent of waking them up with bicycle kicks, let alone showing disrespect to an elder from another tribe.
