not according to the American constitution.

The precedent has already been set where they’re sending people who haven’t been convicted in a court of law to El Salvador. In addition to using words such as terrorists to describe those who disagree with them. It’s just a very very dangerous slippery slope and not something to .

You don’t dislike criminals more than the average person does. Let him follow the current US constitution for dealing with criminals. It’s been working. In fact more people are locked up than there need to be. The escalation is unnecessary and it’s so easy to see that is a ploy to get rid of dissidents.

Do you really think you can convince those blockheads?

Comment for the sake of those who wish to learn.

Don’t be dense.

It is too much to ask that the president cannot be criticized. If you’ve accepted a reality where the president is God and anyone who says anything against him deserves life in a torture prison in a foreign country they don’t come from, then you deserve whatever rights you have taken from you.

Organizing a huge protest chanting God damn America is NOT criticizing the president

If a naturalized citizen opt for a life of violent crimes, s/he deserves to end up in a prison worse than the Venezuelan prison.

Why deport him to a country he's not from. What sort of "deport" is that??

Great difference.

Phew!

You damne right great difference. Nigerians may do the worst Yahoo, 419, and drug dealing, but they'll never pick up a gun. Tinubu forfeited $1m (in today's money) but they never caught him with a gun

Convicted is a far cry from going to jail - or forfeiting $1m (in today's $)

A naturalized citizen is not the same as a birth citizen. A naturalised citizen is someone who for most of their lives was not a US citizen but acquired it documentary qualification.
They had a residential permit and a work permit, then they applied for citizenship and ed the citizenship test. If such a person goes ahead to commit a serious crime (a felony) they should not be allowed to keep their document acquired citizenship.

This is a similar case with the Shamima Begum case in the UK

Well, I turned to Google and couldn't find a single instance where a naturalized US citizen was deported. Try it and see for yourself

His wife is a naturalised citizen. Deport your wife and in-laws to El Salvador. Deport white naturalised citizens to El Salvador. Elon Musk is naturalised. Let’s hold him to if people deported to El Salvador aren’t white naturalised criminals.

Well, those people you mentioned haven't committed any crimes. He said you have to commit a violent crime. Get it? CRIME!

Where did you see Abdusalami looted? How did I miss this

I don't think they would be able to return. Normally when a foreigner commits a crime they are jailed and then deported. But now they are deported to serve jail in another country, I believe after the jail if they survive, they will then be deported to their home country. I said if they survive, because you need to see the video of gang in jails in El Salvador.

Unfortunately u r right

That is how Dennisochampa will be deported from the UK after being found engaging in nefarious practices.

He will be bundled to Nigeria the zoo, so he can engage in different shortcuts and call it freedom. Freedom to perpetuate criminal activities. Freedom to violate traffic rules. Freedom to invade tax. Freedom to by prepaid meters.

Bástard crimínal.

Who is Dennisochampa? Just curious

If they were deported in violation of the law, yes they can come back to the US legally. What trump is doing has not been codified as law by US congress. Trump can make executive order, but executive order is not law, they can be overturned by the courts.

Which one of our leaders looters since 1960 did not steal our money?

Name just one, whether at the local, state or federal level in the legislative or executive branch irrespective of being a military dictator or civilian official.

If we have not been allowing thieves to be in various public offices, then why are we poorer COLLECTIVELY and deprived of basic services and utilities more than when oyinbos ruled us, such that we are all running back to their countries, effectively asking to be recolonised

Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?

The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

Yes, they'll need a lawyer, and many lawyers are doing these cases pro bono. And how you entered US is irrelevant in this instance, so long as you declared it, paid a fee/fine if applicable, and went through an available legal pathway to become a permanent resident, and then citizen. Again, an executive order is not a law, unless it is codified as such by congress.. It last only for the duration of the president who made it, or until it's struck down or upheld by the courts, upto the Supreme Court.

Read law reports. There are legal precedents for naturalised citizens being stripped of their citizenship.

There is even a legal term for it. It is called Denaturalisation.

Here is one example:

United States v. Sokolov (1986):

A naturalized citizen was denaturalized after convictions for fraud and other crimes. The court found that Sokolov had misrepresented his criminal history and affiliations during naturalization, which justified revocation.

This case established that felonies exposing false statements or ineligibility (e.g., lack of "good moral character"wink during the naturalization process could lead to denaturalization.
