I came across I recently created a thread appealing to Nairalanders to respect our s.

Still, I decided to read through the comments to understand their reasons. It turns out the uproar was based on a simple misunderstanding. A , Seunmsg, argued that the s were deliberately featuring anti-Tinubu threads on the front page. I understood his point. I, too, would feel bad if a leader I ire were constantly being portrayed in a negative light. So I don’t blame Seunmsg. His reaction is valid.

However, Seunmsg and others should also understand that the s are not to blame. Things are genuinely bad in Nigeria right now. People are being slaughtered daily by terrorists. Kidnappings are rampant. The suicide rate is rising due to the unbearable economic hardship. Everyone is feeling the pressure, including Tinubu ers. In fact, a Tinubu er was recently rescued after attempting suicide due to the hardship. That’s the reality on ground.

Because of all this, the media is flooded with negative reports, not just Nairaland. Please, don’t take my word for it. Check Twitter. Check Facebook. Check Vanguard, Punch, Sahara Reporters, every platform is filled with stories about the crisis in Nigeria. So, when the Nairaland front page appears filled with critical posts, it’s not because there’s an anti-Tinubu campaign. It’s just a reflection of the country's harsh reality.

My advice to Tinubu ers? Recruit more bots to promote the president. It’s clear the current ones aren't doing enough. Trust me, even if Seun sacks all the s and decides to run Nairaland alone, the narrative won’t magically change.

So instead of pointing fingers, why not advise your Jagaban to do something about the insecurity and suffering in the land? Believe me, once things start getting better, you’ll naturally begin to see "pro-Tinubu" threads dominating the front page.

Once again, I appeal to everyone, let’s respect our s and appreciate their hard work.

Nairaland mods are biased and treat nairaland like their personal Facebook page

Fire all MODS including Seun himself, the site should be subcontracted.

David is one of the istrative staff of Nairaland in charge of advert placement and, as such, can't be sacked like ordinary appointed online freelance s, most of which work for free.

Many of these s take bullets for Seun, and so many things that go south on Nairaland are Seun's missteps, but many people won't understand.

Seun is at liberty to sack all the s, excluding Mynd44 and make all the Tinubu boys s. I think Nairaland will be better if that happens.

To be honest, I don't think APC is doing enough in of propaganda because people are not buying it enough. I think they will do better if they flood the social media with more bots to exalt their president while masses suffer and cry in pain

Seun is a smart business man. He won't let few Tinubu clowns destroy his business. How many are they sef? Many of them have jumped ship due to hardship, that's why they're employing bots. And their propaganda ain't working cos you can use propaganda to deceive a man but you can't use it to tell an hungry man that he's enjoying.

Peace have been returning to the forum for months now.
