Obviously the Finnish government was under serious pressure from somewhere to arrest him. They also knew he was fighting a good cause. There is a chance they might be trying to utilise this sort of legal loopholes to get both themselves and Ekpa off the whole mess. But when you put this out this way, someone in the Owanbe government at Abuja might pick this up and start another round of lobbying and bribing of some Finnish officials with all sorts of Oil wells and gas fields. .
