plouchea24:..tell me where in the constitution senators have immunity..which section |
plouchea24: 2:18pm On Apr 08 |

You are right if it's in term of supremacy but when it comes to senate, senate rules are considered supreme, expecially if it has to do with in-house matters or affairs. That is why they didn't use the Nigeria constitution to suspend Natasha, eventhough they claimed to equal under Nigeria constitution. |
plouchea24: 2:19pm On Apr 08 |
ufotunang: Then, you should tell us too, where a sitting senator was once indicted or prosecuted before the court of law. |
plouchea24: 2:29pm On Apr 08 |
DriveByKiller: First, Ike Ekweremadu was never the president of the senate. He was the deputy to the senate president. Secondly, prosecution and his jail term was after he left senate. |
loffyloffy: 2:30pm On Apr 08 |
DaddyCoool: Defamation: A general term referring to making false statements that damage a person's reputation. So if the guy can provide a backstory ing his opinion, like instances in which Natasha has been caught in a lie, examples of when and who she blackmailed , and when she used another person to advance her course then there is no case here. But like I said, all theses is just academic, it is my opinion that none of the court cases she is throwing up will be pursued to any serious degree. In the Nigerian palance..they are just 'audio court cases' |
ufotunang: 2:47pm On Apr 08 |
plouchea24:... according to the research I did at Google..they said senators have parliamentary privileges.. |
DriveByKiller: 2:55pm On Apr 08 |
plouchea24:Noted. No senate member, not the senate president or deputy senate president has immunity. If you still insist on this path of ignorance then show us the section in the constitution that convey immunity to the senate president |
plouchea24: 2:57pm On Apr 08 |
DriveByKiller: It's not termed immunity.. The clause is termed parliamentary privilege. |
DaddyCoool(f): 3:00pm On Apr 08 |
loffyloffy: Why didn't you also look up definitions of opinion and blackmail also. Saying someone has 6 kids from different fathers is NOT an opinion. Blackmail is a criminal offense and involves demanding payment or another benefit from someone in return for not revealing damaging information about them. "Audio cases" - are you a lawyer? She is! |
plouchea24: 3:00pm On Apr 08 |
ufotunang: You can just had to your knowledge. Not only to the lawmakers, even extended to the judiciary. Except for the executive heads that used to made public and very common. It's different entity with distinct functions but shared almost thesame privileges. |

ufotunang: Open your mind to learn. Constitution is very supreme. But, everything was not binded to Constitution alone. People of a culture designed the Constitution, and the culture was made superior than the Constitution. The subject of Constitution is only for the abuse of power, not for crime, or other related offences.. |
plouchea24: 3:09pm On Apr 08 |
DriveByKiller: What you forget is that, they too are elected officials. |
loffyloffy: 3:33pm On Apr 08 |
DaddyCoool: I never said the claim of 6 kids is an opinion..infact, I called it a statement of fact to be ed or disclaimed. Blackmail can also be used broadly to include threatening someone to do what you want, just today, China made a statement that they will resist the blackmailing tendency of the USA in the ongoing trade war between the two countries. And yes it is my opinion that she is using this law cases as a threat and to keep the issues alive in the media rather than pursuing the cases rigorously, hence the term 'Audio Cases' |

Ebubu: Even the senate president does not have immunity..... it is better to keep quiet sometimes. 1 Like |
DaddyCoool(f): 3:41pm On Apr 08 |
loffyloffy: You should have ascertained whether 6 kids was true before saying she had no case. Any word can be used colloquially. You can say Europe raped Africa. Quite different from calling someone a rapist. Same way, Chna/US is different from calling someone a "habitual blackmailer". As for audio, once again, she's a lawyer, you are NOT!! 1 Like |

DaddyCoool: Bros..or Auntie or even Brosauntie whichever one you be, clearly you are misreading my post. I don't have to anything said about her, I am only an observer, all I did was to classify some of the statements from the male senator, into actual statements that can be factually checked in the court or mere opinion that if not ed will have to be withdrawn. It is not relevant if she is a lawyer or not, what is relevant is her antecedents of using legal cases as a publicity stunts, just on the current issue alone she has initiated more than a couple of cases. In all probability those cases are just stunts, nothing more |
kennyamusan(m): 4:17pm On Apr 08 |
yarimo:If she is lieing, let them challenge her in court . Before you die , At least use your brain to think for once |

Exceed15:go to court and proof that, stop disturbing us |
Exceed15: 5:07pm On Apr 08 |
Charmingpet: Mumu proof what !? Didn't u see it spread all over social media and Natasha did not come out to debunk it. |
Trustyourself: 7:07pm On Apr 08 |
plouchea24: Can you state a section of the Senate Standing Rule that says you cannot sue a senator? |
Gudiza(m): 8:45pm On Apr 08 |
have been patiently waiting for this suit. everybody dey play with sense this one just carry body throway for express....like a disposable tissue picked from the gutter. Now we know the Senators serving Akpabio 'tea' in his home & taking minutes that's why he's a witness to Natasha's Akpabio home visit. Last last, 10th assembly is run like a mafia-style club house! |
DaddyCoool(f): 8:57pm On Apr 08 |
loffyloffy: I'd call you simply Auntie.. Auntie, here’s your statement verbatim: "none of the cases is going anywhere". How can that be true if she only has 3 kids and he's going about saying she has 6?? And how can blackmail be true when she's happily married to the same, who has said he warned Akpabio to leave his wife alone. How can you know better than him if he was blackmailed?? |
loffyloffy: 10:57pm On Apr 08 |
DaddyCoool: It is my opinion that the cases are going no where, it is yours that it will get somewhere. We both have a right to our opinions, in the next year or so, it will be clear who got it right. Mind you my opinion is not based on the merit or otherwise of the case itself, but on her antecedent. Plus there are so many of the cases she is initiating, how many can she really pursue? |
Babinski: 10:14am On Apr 09 |
loffyloffy: I don't think you have ever been in court before or have any form of legal knowledge. What Senator Nwaebonyi has done is make claims which are defamatory to Natasha. In law, he who asserts must prove. So he needs to prove with facts how Natasha is a gold digger, a habitual liar, a blackmailer and how she contracted her marriage under blackmail. If you think those claims are easy to prove in court for Nwaebonyi, then you need to think twice. |
loffyloffy: 3:34pm On Apr 09 |
Babinski: You seems to be of the opinion that this case will have its day in the court..my view is that it won't |
Babinski: 6:16pm On Apr 09 |
loffyloffy: Do you think Senator Nwaebonyi a d Natasha will reach a political truce or that a Judge will dismiss the case? Natasha has already provided evidence of the defamation in her suit. If she is determined to pursue it, I can bet you Nwaebonyi will eventually bend and apologize. In 2020 when Govenor Samuel Ortom sued Adam Oshiomole for defamation (libel) and he was determined to pursue it, Oshiomole bent after failing to have the case dismissed. He opted for out of court settlement and apologized to Ortom publicly. https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenationonlineng.net/oshiomhole-opts-for-out-of-court-settlement-in-n10bn-libel-suit/amp/ |

Helpfromabove1(m): 10:27pm On Apr 09 |
plouchea24: Firstly INDICT and SUE are two different legal language Secondly a senator can sue and be sued The law only gives the senator immunity ONLY while discussing matters on the floor of the sanate or committee meeting And this one is on social media and television sations Pls be informed |
