Did you proof of funds on the consular portal before you can the waiting list?, I’m not understanding it because proof of livelihood is showing as a compulsory document on the new portal. And did they send you an email that you’ve ed the waiting list on the new consular portal

Good day everyone, I am ing the waitlist for appointment date on the consular portal but I have a question, my birth certificate lists three names (e.g., "Chukwuemeka Oladapo Adebayo" but every other document show a shortened version (e.g., "Chukwu Oladapo Adebayo", would this discrepancy cause any issues? the shortened name is a commonly used version of the full name. Has anyone been in this situation?

I’m having this same issue too, I want to book an appointment on the new portal for my brother, but they are requesting for proof of funds confirmation, it wasn’t like that when I applied on the old portal. Please what do you think can be done, is there anyway one can book appointment without ing proof of livelihoods, or is there a way I can remove it from the necessary document to so as to book my appointment

While trying to for a study visa the portal doesn’t allow me to use my parent as reference also I didn’t see any section for selecting masters program all I saw there was study I’m asking Incase I should just my uni transcript for the school report section…pls I need an answe

Put your certificates from primary to university if you have them. But your degree certificate is very important

Proof of livelihood was not a mandatory as of last month. It just changed recently.

Could someone kindly the validity of a sponsorship letter? My uncle issued one for me last year and recently went to the home office to get it renewed. However, he was told that the original letter is still valid and can be used. Can anyone clarify this? Also, has anyone ever submitted a sponsorship letter that was more than 6 months old at the embassy? Were they rejected, or were they given time to provide an updated version?

To an extent, this pattern doesn’t make any sense because everyday , people are booking with the old system and they are valid, going by that, the appointments booked with the old system will be inexhaustible unless there’s something I don’t know and I would like to be corrected. Thanks.

I’m very sure this isn’t the date I entered. And yes, I used the old confirmation link. I randomly check the link once in a while for no reason at all. I’ve checked about 5 times since I booked last year and I’ve always seen correct info — until today… Genuinely don’t know what to do.

Since it was correct before, it could just be a glitch.

Please does the Embassy send another mail for confirmation after the one they sent immediately one has booked with our booking details acknowledging that we're on the waiting list
