US details

Oh ok.. I didn't know it was possible sef.

I thought of a plan yesterday night.. here it is:

I want to tell my aunt in the US to open kdp in her name and details for me..

But I'll be writing, formatting and deg the book covers.. after which I'll send to her to publish

The only work she'd do will be to publish the books (of course, I'll guide her through)

How viable is this plan??

It's great as long as you trust her and she is reliable. But , even US s are been terminated so make sure all the details are verifiable and real.

I wish we had a private place we could say all these because I don't trust these Amazon guys.

Sorry to hear this. It is sad. I told someone recently that there is a crackdown on s with Nigerian IP. Some persons have used VPN and still got terminated. Why did i say this, i have not been asked to any of my s and I published more books with all going through. It is quite unfortunate that the honest guys are been collectively punished because of a few bad eggs.

Even my mentor had to leave the country because of the continous restrictions Nigerians face on the online business space.

This is so sad to hear, so sorry about your ordeal.
It's very glaring that they don't want us anymore. We really bastardize the opportunity kdp gave us.

They asked for identity verification after creating a new right?

That details is gone already, even without publishing.
I honestly don't know what to advise.
If you try to use VPN in creating a new , how about the Nigerian details? This is tricky.

Thanks to those course sellers. sad

I'm totally devastated, I spent years staying committed to this cursed company. I even published two books just to show them how serious I was.
The same mail as the last one. Every information I provided was absolutely complete and accurate, I even used voter's card to the just to show them how authentic I am. All of the information were absolutely correct — I know this because it's my momma's details.

I'm not longer interested in the business, it's just sad that I have nothing to fall back on. Going back into street and village work. If I can make them pay without hurting the innocent publishers, I swear I will. I have nothing but hatred and curses for those hands terminating all of my hard work.

In this age of AI, no idea
If you can browse through freelance sites like fiver and see what's available.

Another thing that comes to mind is building connections, I heard someone say how people are like the best resources you can ever have. If you find the right ones. But it's a challenge, I no go lie.

I don't think this tracking thing is true. I'm a Nigerian in Nigeria using Nigerian IP yet I'm making sales and getting paid, since 4 years now.

If your is terminated, you did something off and not necessarily about being a Nigerian. Una too dey feel say the world hate Nigerians, not necessarily true.

When I started publishing they were friendly with Nigerians. It's even my Nigerian number I used to open the . This continued until some oversabi Nigerians brought their usual wuru wuru into it to make quick sales, hence, the decision to stop Nigerians from opening .

They were exposing how to remove the tax thing and other secrets... I'm tired. KDP is my last hope.

Now...Nigerians and indians have taken over YouTube with AI generated videos, they are even selling courses now. I have been on YouTube since I was a kid, I would videos, my songs, for fun but if I eventually decide to do YouTube full-time today and they start banning Nigerian; someone would come here to tell me it's because I'm a scammer.

Time to go back to working in a factory for half the minimum wage? I hope not cry. I really wish I still had enough time. Too many failures in my life. Even God knows I gave my best, none of these failures were the result of laziness—that's something I have never been. I leave everything to God and remain totally emotionally detached.

This is quite touching. I can help to publish your books in my . Whatever proceeds that comes from it I'll send it to you. Though I'll have to read through to see if it's Amazon worthy.

They don't usually target old s but new s. Back then, from my research, even if you make an unintentional mistake, they would tell what that was, and unban the but today, they don't even care. They don't even bother to respond. I only had a one even though I was advised to open multiple s yet they never considered the fact that I have never broken the rules or had any issues with them.

Even the last they banned, had accurate and complete details yet they unjustly terminated the and refused to respond to my mails.

This is true!

Working with my new mentor. I have learnt that things as little as image can get your banned on KDP.

Like I was so shocked with the things I learnt that i started to wonder if I would have survived the business if I went all in alone.

I think all the newbies need a mentor that is so good in the game. Not all those legalNaira on twitter that will be advising you to publish 20 books with AI, use ads, to push the books, blah blah blah.

Those guys are after people buying the courses.

In fact everyday I thank God of linking me up with this my mentor. Like Omo, he is a life saver, he is God sent.

Omo! This KDP is not a weak man’s business ooooo. But we will never relent.

I want to still insist that for them to ban your there's something off about your or published books. Amazon doesn't ban s indiscriminately. I disagree with you. Go take time to read their and conditions, though long, you would find your mistake by yourself.

However, if you used a foreign number to open when you are in Nigeria, that is also illegal and they reserve the right to ban such s if they discover, as they no longer accept Nigerians. But would you blame them? No!!

Amazon kdp that we were publishing our books in peace some Nigerians came with their usual fraudulent ways to fast track sales of their books. Giving misleading titles completely different from the content, using forbidden words just to attract buyers, plus many other nefarious actions. Buyers report them to Amazon, what do you now expect? A smile at Nigerians?

If na you get the company wouldn't u do same to protect a brand you spent billions to build?

I still insist that I have done nothing wrong — I can agree I might have made an unintentional mistake in the first and rightfully so, I immediately tried to reach out to them but I got no response. The next thing I got was a ban claiming I copied someone's work. I assumed it was copyright and that was why I wrote them but I checked the keywords and found nothing incriminating. I believe I might done something wrong as this was my first time having issues with them but they didn't bother explaining anything.

Second ? Yes, I was advised to go the other route but all of my details were correct anyways... Third ? I kept it real with them but it still got terminated. Amazon is targeting Nigerians, I hate what our people are doing, but does that mean taking away the good guy's source of livelihood? I still know people gaming the system and then are still making thousands of dollars each month — matter of fact, I know someone with over 10 s.

Why are the ones who are trying to be transparent the most affected? Amazon is the most toxic company ever, hopefully, their monopoly comes to an end one day.

Their T & C is so fluid that anything can happen. Sometimes they ban s and when you ask for the reason, they won't be able to pin it on any infrigement on their T & C. I agree there are bad actors in these game, but some innocent folks have taken stray bullets.

They can't ban s without discovering something off, I've said this before. There's always something, whether minute or not. The problem is the slightest thing they discover, even if it can be solved, automatic ban as far as you are a Nigerian, same as Indians. Their eyes are open wide on Nigerians now unlike before.

Why would they not, when our people dey mess up.

Honestly, if it was me I'd do same. I can't watch some country that's high on fraudulent ways to come ruin my business I took years plus huge money to build. Let's be realistic and stop being sentimental. Amazon is a big brand.
