I don't think that you will get any response here on nairaland.  I would advise you do not experiment with various methodologies cos more harm will come of it than good. 

In my opinion the best method is to free yourself from compulsive thoughts, and deeds.  Meditation. Forgiveness.  Think on all the issues that you have in your life and try to release it, forgive those that offended you and forgive yourself too.  Be spontaneous, let go of all the baggage from your past, what was done to you, who did it, how you'll get them back etc etc etc

Some very simple 'pranayama' will help too but I do not recommend doing advanced pranayama.  Just Kalapabhati, and anuloma viloma.

Why do u want to awaken your Kundalini? is it going to help you achieve your goals in life? If not leave it alone and let sleeping dogs lie.

The level of dedication and work required of advanced esoteric and metaphysical practices is not worth the trouble in modern western societies. It might take you decades of meditation and learning just to get tangible results, all in a bid to do supernatural feats.

Not exactly. I began studying esoteric sciences in my youth and even started seeing tangible results. However, I soon realized that the time and dedication required to attain true mastery or guru status were impractical for survival in modern society.

Achieving genuine spiritual mastery—not the deception practiced by many so-called gurus today and religious charlatans, who are only after your pocket —demands decades of meditation, righteous living, and complete detachment from material possessions. Tibetan hermits, for instance, retreat into isolated mountain caves, meditating for years and surviving on minimal food, eating only once every two days, all in pursuit of enlightenment.

Are you prepared for such a path, merely to awaken the kundalini and glimpse the future? And to what end?

I also wonder about all these people in Asia isolating themselves in caves and mountains in the name of enlightenment. Is it not a waste of life, then?

Quite a few people are claiming to have undergone awakening…as far as I know they’re still involved in modern life but just with a new understanding. They even explain the process on tiktok, lol.

I practice transcendental meditation for now but I saw a book on kundalini yesterday. I wonder if I should go back and buy it. And they even say it’s demonic, haba
