We should be dominating against lesser opposition you say but we aren’t cos we think we have the personnel but we don’t in reality. The way the Zimbabweans were even so comfortable knocking the ball around as if they were the home side says a lot about the profile of our team. If we are honest we don’t have more than 3 excellent players, most are just average at best. Though 3 excellent players in a team can be enough to get decent results but once one or two are marked out it becomes more difficult.
3 excellent players in a team is not only enough to get decent results, but enough to win tournaments even, having up to 5 is a plus.
But do we really have up to 3 excellent players in our team we can rely on at all times.
We have Osimhen, Lookman maybe, who else makes them 3.
This is my ideal of 3 excellent,or top class players in our team.

I don’t see Rwanda doing that away from home
Benin is west Africa. Rwanda is Southern Africa. It's like Ghana, CIV or Cameroon vs Nigeria; result can go einther way. Rwanda had won them in first leg. I see a draw in that game.

If we have up to 4 reliable players in our team, why are we not winning our matches, or dominant in our play?
U would say coaches, but this is our fourth coach since Rohr was sacked.
The players should accept they are not that far better than the rest of Africans as fans made them believe, and work extra hard with the Nigerian spirit, if they want to win the next AFCON.

If one cannot accurately discern what's wrong, you can't offer any useful input.
At AFCON we had the highest number of created chances (someone should factcheck please). Zim of recent history, chances were not the problem.
That symptom is what you should be discussing. All this dominance this and that is mere fan talk.

CHELLE TO OVERHAUL SUPER EAGLES
•New Players May Prosecute Int'l Friendlies
Some players of the Super Eagles may be facing the exit door of the team during and after the international break week.
Apparently not satisfied with the performance of his team in the 1-1 drawn game against Warriors of Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifier played in Uyo, Chelle is set to invite new set of players to prosecute the international friendly against Russia in June and the 4-Nation tournament that will follow.
Eagles will be involved in an invitational tournament with Ghana and Jamaica after the friendly with Russia. Chelle plans to test new players with these games.
"He has about 20 new players on his list and if most of them excel in the games during the international break then, some senior or old players in the original team will be on their way out," an impeccable source in the NFF revealed.
The source went further, "He (Chelle) wanted to use these new players in the game against Rwanda and Zimbabwe but he was asked not to experiment with the new players because it may backfire.
"But after the game against Zimbabwe, he made up his mind to try the new players during the international break to prepare for the September World Cup qualification outing of the team."
Another report says, Chelle has Lesley Ugochukwu, George Ilenikhena, Carney Chukwuemeka among other players he has on his radar to discuss with, with a prospect to play for Nigeria.
Perhaps this piece of news may coerce Super Eagles players to sit up. Most of them have been posting very dismal or below par performance in recent times.
Recently Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface appealed to fans of Super Eagles to be patient with him after scoring in the 3-1 defeat of Bochum last Friday. He has featured in 11 games for Super Eagles including the last against Zimbabwe scoring just once.

The result of short term planning. Give a coach a longer timeline and room to work within his vision. He might not meet short term goals but in the long term will build something more formidable.
If Chelle wants to overhaul the team, the NFF should allow him because he needs players that suit his philosophy.
