Confirming the tragic incident on Monday, the Village Head of Matuak Giwa, Simon Ayuba, stated that the herder had been seeking shelter from the rain with his cattle when the lightning struck, killing them instantly.
From Bauchi to Kaduna...hmmmmmm
Why this people cannot stay in their state of origin to rear their cattle?
Ok,you decide to move out which is normal in Nigeria and everywhere on the globe, why do you carry killings, raping and stealing with you?

Justice serves naturally.

This event occurred in southern Kaduna which is largely a Christian-dominated area.
The name of the person being interviewed is Simon.
While the name and religion of the victim wasn’t published, it may be safe to assume he was also Christian as they raise cattle as well.

From report, it actually rained heavy in southern kaduna. The peaceful people of Nigeria and down trodden. But God rate the peaceful highly always.

Be peaceful to the firmament. Avoid the sword and guns. Avoid beliefs that encourage u to use those, as you along cannot bear the loneliness of this earth.

Or the governor should go and beg the Fulanis for fear of retaliations grin

He didn't beg them for fear of retaliation. He did so out of his stupid political ambition.

Let them demand compensation from the gods or even FG. Probably an earlier condolence visit from Ṣàngó .

As you can see, I was extremely surprised, because such is never expected at this time with the current state of the weather.

I'm not in about religious talks on this forum, but I think I read earlier on that the victim was from Bauchi and has been buried according to islamic rights. Or was it not this news?

Its rare, but it does happen.

I think d explanation is that the lightning can travel far away from where it formed due to precipitation and then strike in a place with clear weather.
