But obi people said only Yoruba senators are against it! Any reasonable person will see this move as a gross misplaced of priorities and criminality! His cowardice for not announcing the result led to the arrest of this man, yet those ipob senators wanted him to be immortalised! If he’s that important to them how have they immortalised him in their region? If you pay good attention to this people ,you will realised they are the most hypocritical reprobates in Nigeria! Just wanted to always look for opportunities to forment trouble for no reason! Thank God Una papa na hin be president, he matched Una madness!

Don't you see that oyamiris are under a great cursed, instead of finding a way to make their region livable they are shading shadows of a dead person.

Nobody knows his death time, more reason not to delay repentance and seeking forgiveness from any of our wrong deed. Once we realise it or free from under pressure that silence us, let confess.

I think Oshiomole has point here

Have you read HN's book on this? The same man stated clearly that MKO won that election. Even during the time he announced the results against the wish of the military then. Without him MKO wouldn't have know the results of that election.
See God will punish all these people, if HN was a Yoruba man we would not be saying this.

So with the video that circulated that you all watched, that man did not say exactly what happened before the annulment abi?
If you give a blind eye to that video, may you all go blind...

Did Oshomole take his time to read the book written by Prof. Humphrey Nwosu where he expressly stated that Abiola won the election and the circumstances surrounding the whole issues as at that time, he even granted an interview with Sowore where he reiterated his decision that Abiola won the election.

Stop lying and giving silly excuses. The same man defied court injunction and went ahead with the election, then why couldn't he defy same pressure and announce the winner?

Go will punish you 1000 times. So you didn't hear his of it. If you must know the case saying he should not conduct the election was struck out at the Supreme Court, that was why he went ahead and conducted the June 12 elections.

You guys the God will punish you people ehnnn, it will be epic.

It's easy to ask why a civilian like Nwosu did not publicly announce June 12th results against the wishes of Generals with guns

But Igbo people are the bravest in Nigeria na as you always chestbeat like Gorilla? Are you not brave enough to face the military? Something that ordinary woman Kudirat did even if it cost her life. That's bravery not running to Kenya after formenting trouble in a place you called Zoo or that one that fled wearing woman wrapper with headgear with lipstick to Abidjan after sending 3 million of his kinsmen to die like chickens in an unnecessary nzogbu nzogbu war.

Illiterate, the national electoral Commission was established to conduct elections in consistent with the 1979 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. The military was using the 1979 constitution, the judiciary were interpreting the laws in consistent with the 1979 constitution. As at 1992, NEC had been conducting elections into various elective positions, as Nigeria was transitioning into a democratic system. Nwosu failed woefully as an umpire empowered by the constitution. He chickened out when the entire nation needed him most.

God will punish you and your lineage for lying against Humphrey Nwosu. Even in your heart you know that you are lying clearly. People like you need to be beaten very well.

Abaribe knows his people too well, that’s why he keeps winning without any tangible constituency project to his name. He knows his people only adore chronic bigots and despise those Ibo politicians who are known to be moderate.
That’s why the likes of Ojukwu, Nnamdi Kanu, Obi, Abaribe, etc are hero-worshipped despite no significant legacy to their name while the likes of Rochas, Umahi and Soludo are despised.
Ibos lives depend and survive on hate and bigotry rather than food and oxygen

You don't have sense at all. So it is now a crime to ask for HN to be immortalised abi.

It is because of another election is fast approaching and he needed another format outside Nmandi kanu release to be voted for again. He can go and name his village after him. An umpire who failed to declare the winner and that singular act from him, later led to the death of the winner after declaring himself winner. All this easterners taught other part of the country are stupid. Thank God Oshiomole spoke cos they have already been crying and saying the Yorubas senator kicked against it and this is no longer one Nigeria. So if you bring up useless issue because of one Nigeria, others should accept. You people knows we are one Nigeria but you keep importing fake drugs and expired one to the country. A spade will always be called spade, no matter the cry from any quarters. In an ideal manner, Nwosu family suppose to apologize to the Abiola family.

You don't have sense at all. If HN was a yoruba man and a yoruba senator moved the motion for him to be immortalised, you will not say it is because elections is near.

Humphrey Nwosu is No Hero – Let’s Be Honest

Honoring Humphrey Nwosu in the same breath as MKO Abiola is an insult to history.

After Abacha died, MKO Abiola died—a clear signal that forces beyond Nwosu were at play. But in moments where great men stand up to cement their legacy, Nwosu remained silent.

He had one duty: affirm that MKO won fair and square. He didn’t.

Why?
• Fear of IBB? Maybe.
• Pressure from the military? Likely.
• But history only re the bold, not the cautious.

Compare Him to True Heroes

Today, we have INEC commissioners risking their lives to declare results under threats, some even at gunpoint, yet standing firm.
• Some have lost their lives for announcing the rightful winners.
• Nwosu had none of that courage.

Senator Abaribe’s Calls for Immortalization? Nothing to See Here.

He was just a civil servant. He did his job—but nothing extra.
• He didn’t fight for justice.
• He didn’t push against the annulment.
• He didn’t defend the mandate of the people.

Greatness is defined by what you do when it matters most.

Humphrey Nwosu is no hero.
He was just a bureaucrat who stayed within the lines.

IBB and his boys were so mean..oo!
Anyhow you look at it,Prof Nwosu really try his best. This thing is not as easy as you and Oshomole think.Imagine you being surrounded by IBB military boys who only hear GO without hearing COME asking you at gunpoint not to announce the remaining states again.
If you were him, what will you do?

Even at that, the man still managed to publish the remaining states results on the board at the national collation center and called a pool of journalists to cover it which they all published the entire results of the 30 states of the federation in their different news outlets before he finally escaped for his dear life.

That's why earlier this year, when IBB published his so called book of history, the full results of that election prepared by Nwosu were flying around in every media space.
Infact,it was his courage to even publish the whole results that made Abiola himself and other Nigerians know he won the election.

Yes,he couldn't make official declaration of the results because of how brutal and terrible the then military regime was,but at least,he mustered courage to do a publication of the full results for the press and the entire country to know the winner.
So the man deserves his flower.

You said he was an ordinary civil servant doing his normal job. That he didn't do anything extraordinary to deserve recognition.
So tell me,the IBB that annulled the election, what did he do extraordinary that he now got immortalized?
Was the annulment an extraordinary thing you are talking about?

Also, the tyrant called Abacha that arrested and jailed MKO that won the election until he died in his custody which has been immortalized today, what extraordinary thing did he do during that election?
Arresting and jailing the winner and truncating democracy is now extraordinary thing deserving immortalization that result publication by Nwosu even at gunpoint?

You and Adam are displaying double standards as far as this sensitive issue of June 12 is concerned.

You people should have spoken strongly just as you are doing to Nwosu now against the naming of any critical infrastructure after Abacha and IBB because of the ignoble roles they played as far as the June 12 saga is concerned.
But no, you and Adams Oshomole kept quiet when some national assets were used to immortalized the two military despots.

What's the deal there? Let them name the building after him. But the issue is that why now? What happened all the years that he was alive? And why is there always a tribal tint to it? Why do all South East senators need to want him to have a national honour? Is the honour because of whatever he did, or because it is from the South East?

Ohhhh let me ask you if HN was a Yoruba man will you be saying this? You guys are serious bigots walahi.

He would not have done that under the despot called Babangida. That man and his group were intoxicated by power and very wicked in their days.

Even this Oshiomole was said to have criticized Obasanjo in the morning during his time as NLC leader on a particular day, in the evening of same day Murray Ben Bruce visited Obasanjo and met the two of the drinking and laughing together.
He is now a saint.
