Imagine we all planted at least a fruit tree before the end of Tinubu's tenure, so that the years are not totally wasted.
If Tinubu fails, mother nature would never disappoint.

So, what would you grow?
I've planted many already and some have started fruiting.

One of my oranges started fruiting last year.

My Jackfruit started with 2 fruits last year, but yielded more this year just about 7 months after last years fruiting.

I have been planting and harvesting several pawpaws each year.

2 of my coconuts are currently flowering.

One of my mangoes flowered this year but aborted all.

My quavers have been fruiting but not yielding well because of shade.

2 days ago I noticed that my soursop has started fruiting.

2 of my palm trees have started flowering.

I've been harvesting several plantains for about 3 years now.

Other trees I have include:

Avocado pear,
Local pear,
Cashew,
Local apple,
Ogbono.

I plan to plant 30 or more stands of cocoa this year.

I have around ten trees of soursop tree,2 avocado 🥑 trees one already producing though the two was planted the same time having it in mind to cut down that one that has refused to produce by next year if it insist of not producing, 4 small peer trees use in eating corn one already start producing expecting others to start producing soon, 2 orange trees not yet producing after 6years will still give them more years, 2 coconut 🥥 tree expecting them to start producing 2years from now and 1 tengarine tree. My compound is a garden of eden, that has always been my plan from the onset

I am writing this to encourage people to plant at least a tree in their compound .

Are you a farmer? Do you have a full-time job apart from taking care of these fruits?

For fruits, I'd go for avocado pear, for general farming, I'd choose cassava or plantain!

The compound is almost 100x100, what I did was to plant carpet grass before planting the tree at my front because that front is where I would have been sweeping but I don't I only cut the carpet grass when they are outgrowing and park them or use rake to rake the fallen leaves. .

Good job we will eat the fruit of our labour in good health and not those ones they are using chemicals to ripe.

So after cutting the grass, you don't sweep the leaves which fell from the trees?

Is like you don't weed the carpet grass completely. You give it low-cut?
