Ndidi last good game for Nigeria was the AFCON 2019 Q/Final against South Africa.
Since then, his performance in our jersey has declined.

His absence due to injury at the last AFCON was a blessing in disguise because Alhassan Yusuf and later Frank Onyeka interpreted the DM role better and made us realize that they're an upgrade on him.

Truly, if Ndidi had been at the last AFCON, and was the starting DM, we may not have gotten to the finals

Many are mentioning names of players that failed yesterday but to me the person that should take 100% of the blame is the coach and his crew

Didn’t watch the game yesterday due to commitments but from the info I got after the game Chelle bleeped up big time

You desperately need a win which is 3 points which u were on the verge of getting but ignorantly threw that away. As a coach managing a team in such desperate position in the group what matters for now is winning your games but not destroying your opponents with mind blowing score lines like 3-0,4-0 etc, what matters most judging by the teams position in the group is winning as much as they can

When the team got the goal in the second half the ideal thing to do is sub in more bodies to the midfield and defence to protect the lead as well as hit the opponent on counter attack when there is opportunity for that

Chelle is a good tactician but the problem he has is he is desperate to impress his employers and super eagles fans by winning pretty with big goal margins forgetting that his major focus should be on getting 3 points in each game by hook or crook ie by any means

He is new to the job and it will take a bit of time for the players to adapt to his tactics and philosophy but till then he should focus on winning games in this ongoing WCQ series and pray that other teams in the group drop points

boss to be honest I don’t blame the players much but the NFF

U don’t wait till the last minute to fix big problems hoping that your contenders can easily be blown away. Baba national teams in Africa don wake up and the time we all as fans and the NFF understands this the better for us

I don put all these into consideration which made me not to bother myself much if the team qualifies or not because the mistake hv been made during the first and second stage of the qualifiers

Imagine gaining only 3 points from your first 4 games and u re expecting your opponents not to tighten up in order to maintain their edge/advantage over you?

I saw the highlight and to me the team wasn’t bad. The major mistake is from the coach who did nothing to protect the lead as well

Common sense would hv made him know that after scoring that Zimbabwe will attack with all they have so the ideal thing to do is to make the midfield and defence more compact. I bet you that if he applied this tactics his team would have even easily scored more goals to win the game

From the lil I have seen in Chelle I like him but he is too eager to impress his employers and super eagles fans. He should learn to play dirty when required

Iwobi played well and delivered a masterclass of a performance yesterday. He did his job and that of Ndidi. He was always dropping deep to collect the ball from the defenders, a job which ordinarily Ndidi ought to have been doing.

Ndidi was the weak link in that midfield due to his poor positional awareness, lack of anticipation, poor ing, ball-carrying & advancing ability.

Removing Iwobi was a wrong call by the coach. Rather, Ndidi ought to have been removed for Alhassan Yusuf or Onyedika.

Pls dead this talk of home-based players. This foreign-based despite their disappointing results, I still believe are better than the home-based players.

as in. All they do is form big boy on the pitch. Look at that equaliser, if its Cameroon or Senegal, those defenders would have closemark that player. Ekong and osayi was just ball watching. We don't have tough players in the team
