Is it a crime that I was not born into a wealthy family? Is it a sin that I chose the path of hard work and knowledge instead of shortcuts and bribery? I have exhausted my energy, my connections, and my strength. I have run from pillar to post, spending what I do not have, chasing hope that keeps slipping away. I do not have millions of naira to buy a job slot like many do. I have only You, Ya Razzaq, Ya Fattah, Ya Malik-ul-Mulk! You are the Opener of closed doors, the Giver of sustenance, the King of all dominion. Ya Allah, I come before Your Merciful Door, kneeling, crying, and broken. I have no one else to turn to except You. You are my last and only hope. Show me Your Power, open a door for me in a way that will leave people in awe of Your Qudrah. Give me a befitting job in an unexpected agency, with or without connections, because You alone are the Best of Planners. Ya Allah, in this noble month of Ramadan, the month of Mercy, Barakah, and Rizq, let Your divine intervention locate me. Let Your decree come to in my life.
