Yes, you're right Governor Fubara will be very happy about the state of emergency declaration by Mr President if not there would've been a very serious tension in Rivers State from the Ijaw groups.

Without the emergency rule, by now there would've been house proceedings for the impeachment of the governor. By the time the governor resume, all plans of impeachment would've been dismantled and the only fight will be for 2027

What many have failed to understand is that Tinubu needs both Fubara and Wike for his 2027 ambition. He won't dump wike for Fubara and he's not going to dump Fubara for wike as well. He needs both of them. The biggest loser here is PDP.
