Big question still unanswered - does the president reserve the right to suspend an elected governor?
Yes. It is in the constitution. Don't be deceived by fake analysts. Jonathan did it, obasanjo did it.

He went to senate after declaring the emergency.

What kind of senate approves in a closed door meeting. It wasn't tabled on the senate floor.

Lol. Read what you wrote again and see how it sounds cos I feel it's typo error.
If the president proclaims and the Assembly ratified then what exactly is the point of having an Assembly if the president does not need their approval to do as he likes? Do you even know the duties of the national assembly?
This is democracy not military regime!

It's not about what you feel. That is exactly what the Constitution says. If the Assembly refuses to ratify, then the President's declaration will be null and void. Clearly, you've never opened the Constitution in your life... why are you arguing out of ignorance?
tunde1200(m): 3:18pm On Mar 20
I hope those talking about unconstitutionality of the proclamation can now go and rest and move on. The mediation continues

You are asking this question because you still have the idea that we are in a democracy. I have accepted it and moved on. We are in a DICTOCRACY. Prepare your mind for Tinubu's third term because I see 2027 sealed already.

YES he does

Dont say What you dont know, the president has no constitutional right to suspend the political structure of any state in Nig.

The court will reverse it But the only problem here is they will stall the case and waste fubara time well well

they know its illegal but fubara going to court will enlongate the suspension

Nice one. The sole tenure will be renewed more than two times.
Yes. If elected officials failed to find a common stand to safe the state from further political tumour.

Those that will benefit for the next six months will cause the reasons for FG to extend the tenure and it will be for the advantage of APC towards general election

He demolished part of the building...Not the house of assembly,
Only part of it that was rocked by a bomb blast.

So Who bombed the building on the 30th October which affected part of the building?
Does that person not deserve punishment?

He Demolished it

You can imagine saint obi as president today, God forbid though grin the north would have been tossing him around with just the threat of impeachment, the timid agulu fraud will fall in line grin

Tinubu is the only politician from the south who as the iron balls to put the north, the eastern slave masters in there place grin ever wonder why we have not been hearing of any cabal in this istration?

Yea, your thought is as good as mine grin he is the cabal, and he is in full control….no vacancy in Aso rock come 2027 grin wailers are free to cry there eyes out grin

Cabal ke, Abba kyari was chief of staff to Buhari when Aisha must get approval from him before getting to the ozza room? Can you imagine Senator Remi Tinubu getting approval from Gbaja before entering same ozza room? Gbaja won die? These people are well prepared. Husband na senator and Governor and wife na senator you dey talk of cabal? These guys don tey abeg

If Governors can sack and suspend local government chairmen who where elected like them, why are people saying the president cannot sack or suspend a Governor who was elected like him.

Don’t stop there! Go one further by stating ‘why can’t the military sack Tinubu’?….Or even ‘why can’t the people rise up and kick Tinubu, the despotic ‘emperor’ out of office and rightly have him arraigned for high treason’!?

THOSE OF US THAT WILL CONDEMN THE NORTH DECLARING SOLE ISTRATION AND PLACING FULANI WILL KEEP QUIET BECAUSE THEIR IS NO MORAL JUSTIFICATION TO DO SO.

JUST SEE WHAT SOUTHERN POLITICIANS ARE SHOWING THEM?
SS and SW politicians. Tinubu, akpabio and wike.

The northerners are carefully watching and analyzing what is happening. Their politicians, military generals and officers, sultan and emirs.

They will be like , so power can be used like this.

If a radical northerner becomes president. Someone in the person of buhari, El rufai or kwakwamso. I didn't call Atiku because that one is liberal. North votes for Bigots, extremist s and radicals.

Then if someone like that is in power and Fulani herdsmen continue their killings in the South and middle belt and the indigene fight back in self defense, he will just use it as an excuse to remove the governor and appoint military to the state which will make the herdsmen to continue killed unopposed and unchallenged.

Tinubu, wike and akpabio have show the northerners how to use executive, legislative and judicial power they don't like.

We they get back to power in 2 years time or in 2031. They will abuse such power and use to it at a high proportion because those ones are intolerant to criticisms and opposition.

Tinubu, Akpabio and Wike thinks they will be there forever. They can't see tomorrow.

1. He demolished part of the building that was earlier rocked by a bomb blast. For renovation .That is never an offence.

2. The Rivers State high court gave him a valid court order to work with the 3 man assembly.
How is obeying the court order an impeachable offence?
Everything he did was based on a valid court order.

3. The Supreme Court had ruled before that you vacate your seat as soon as you decamp.
At first the 27 lawmakers agreed that they defected and said that the party was divided because the national secretary position was in contention.
It was later that they started denying defection.
So did you expect Fubara to be claiming that they had lost their seats and still be paying them?

What kind of foolish thinking is that?

You haven't named any offence Fubara committed.
So as a patriot that you claim, do u the ruling of the the River state high court that ask a governor to be working with 3 persons out of 31 persons in that house? If it were the other way, won't you shout that democracy is in danger? Which court of competent jurisdiction ruled that they have lost their seat? If the the supreme court had ruled as you said, are you saying it contradicted itself with the recent judgement on their defection? Renovation is not an offence but demolishing the entire building because you are not in good with majority of the assembly is a no- no. I think you read how supreme court berated his actions regarding that. The governor is not there by himself. And his power stops where that of the assembly start. He is representing the people like wise the legislative . Did he seek the input of the legislative who are representing their respective constituents before embarking on suck demolition? If President Tinubu demolishes the national assembly under any guise and ask the national assembly to be seating in Aso villa , will u deem it as okay? When an action favours the person you like his / her face, it is legal and when it doesn't favour him/ her, it is illegal.

Apart from the demolition you people don't even have any other offence to justify your state of emergency.

Has the Supreme Court not already given verdict for the so called demolition?

Even the attorney general couldn't find any other thing to say apart from demolition.

Too long!
Just a simple response;

As long as his actions were backed by valid court orders, He did not commit any offence.
Do you agree? Yes or No.

Even if he doesn't have the right, once the Rep and Senate have ratified it, it automatically becomes law. As you can see, it's what just happened so Tinubu hasn't committed any offense. Let's move on, Fubara has been saved from certain impeachment thanks to Baba Tinubu.

Something that's already taken effect with or without the senate. This is just to give the whole farce a sense of legality and not to make Tinubu look foolish. We all know Tinubu will have his way with or without the senate who are just there to warm the chairs! undecided

If you know anything about law you would understand that the Supreme Court had no right to meddle into the issue of demolition because there was no court hearing on that issue.

The Supreme Court only worked based on a report one faction gave them.

Why do you think people are saying the Supreme Court was bought?

Ordinary Loyalty test for 2 years Fubu can't !
How did Fubu for University?
So your own definition of loyalty is committing the control and resources of a State to one man who can never accept such arrangement.
