After spending billions to renovate Abuja Stadium and giving it another nomenclature - Moshood Abiola Stadium - we are still back to Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo? Truly, there is something fundamentally wrong with leadership and governance in this part of the world Modified: The Super Eagles should not underrate this Zimbo team oh! I think it is because of the Uyo stadium the Federal Government has refused to maintain the National Stadium in Abuja or any of it's own stadia around the country to FIFA standards which is alien to the traditions in most soccer loving countries. Yes, my wife was right for insisting on buying a car for herself now that I have to abandon my badly maintained one for hers. So the last thing anyone should want is to let them have the Uyo stadium in any way, shape or form. It will be the certain end.
