I’m trying to schedule an interview date, when I select the date and proceed, I keep getting an error message that says “something went wrong, please try again later”

I was wondering if anyone experienced this, and how did you go past this. M

Please how long does it take to get port at OIS after visa issuance? My application was placed under 221g but I was asked to submit my port at OIS which I did on 3rd march, visa approved on 12th march and issued on 13th march. But I need to know know when it will be with OIS Abuja and or DHL Abuja.

You cannot convert when you are there. Apply for the specific visa you need. 3-6months holiday is actually too long. You might have issues during renewal. So plan carefully.

Have you tracked your port on the oisservice website, if not, do that and wait till it says ready for pick up, they might not send you a pick up mail so it’s best to track it.

When I tracked on OIS site, it shows “port not ready for collection yet”

Sometimes, it can be fast, other times, it can be slow. Keep tracking, it should be ready this week. If you need it urgently and you don’t mind paying for the service, you can go to the OIS office in Abuja. Otherwise, just wait for them to update it.

I have a pending application request but anytime I click on it to continue, the entire Avits page loads without progressing and freezes the page and I can't do anything. I want to delete the pending application but there's no way to that without clicking on the pending application which freezes the page.

I have tried to reach customer services but there's no option to chat or to speak to an agent.

hey Tolu i am also experiencing the same issue on my portal when i click the pending appointment request it just keeps spinning. I also purchased my gtb mrv last year july and linked it to my old cgi portal.

Goodnews, I was able to resolve it.

Pls how did you resolve it? I got denied in February and I’m trying to reapply but it just says duplicate . Been on this now since 1st of March

So the issue I'm having is, l used an agent the first time for my application, got denied. Now I decided to do it on my own, so I created a profile with a different email from the one my agent created. When I tried to apply, I was told duplicate applicant for this . So I retrieved the other from the agent and to apply with it and I still got the same message. Any ideas how I can go about it?

M filling ds 160 for my sis coming for my vacation in May 2nd. She had not completed her ds160 for. But she was able to secure a date. Will this affect her application?
2. My school location in usa is 4 hours drive from where I live, should I write an hotel as a place of arrival for her or my address?
3. She was denied visa once when she tried attending my brother's graduation.what should she write as a reason for denial?

I am new to US visa applications. My dad got a refusal and I want to help him reapply as I believe the agent he used made so many errors in his last application. Do I fill out a new DS-160 form? if yes how do I link it to his Avits to book an appointment, please?

Also can I pay for the application from the UK? or it has to be paid in naira at the bank only?

Any other pointers will be greatly appreciated.

What kind of mistakes did the agent make? Falsifications?? Mind you they will still have the old DS160/previous interview in record.

Make sure the port number and case numbers are correct. Tip: “0” or not same as “O”

How long did it take for you to be ed after the case status showed Refused.

Did not get my port back. They first called me and the sent an email (content below). Immediately after. I was asked to come in with a means of identification because they were with the port.

‘You have been scheduled for a follow up interview on March 13th, 2025, at 1pm.

Please arrive at the United States Consulate General in Lagos at least 30 minutes before your appointment to facilitate security screening. You are required to bring a copy of this email and an ID card for your appointment.
