There's an age the law recognises people as adults. A mother is only responsible for what a child does. That woman is 100% right. You can never swear that you have been practicing every good value your parents taught you when you were a child in their care. Children make decisions for themselves and choose their paths the moment they grow into adults. Their parents can only advise them at that point.
