A brief Introduction
This coconut tree has been one of my extra income generator on the farm. It's one of the coconut trees I purchased from Songhai when then they were still at Badagry. So far, it's been producing super big coconuts in their numbers, which one fetches has much as 700 a piece. Moreso, it was doing absolutely well until the saga

The Coconut Saga
Over the years, I have noticed 7 nails nailed into my coconut tree at different angles of it. Most times, I even use the nails in hanging my clothes, farm utensils etc. I never did pay much attention to the different nails struck deep into my coconut tree.

So on this faithful day, some women came around to buy vegetables and one of the ladies noticed the nails on the coconut tree and jokingly said to me in Yoruba; "Omo agba ni eyina."!! I was like, why? I asked her. She said I did work on my coconut tree. Jeeezzzzzz... Ise bi ti bawo? Wetin concern me with doing work on coconut trees? Lol. Then the other ladies looked at it and exclaimed that it was work oooo (jazz thing). That someone must have nailed the coconut tree either for diabolical things or for protection. All these sounded strange to me and I was just amused by their assertions. Who get time to enter my farm con dey nail my coconut tree?

All I know while growing up is you can actually nail your coconut trees if the forming fruits keeps aborting early. Just drive some nails into it and it will stop the abortion of the forming fruits. grin. Nevertheless, in this case, that wasn't the case. 7 big nails had been nailed into it.

After much inspection, I decided to remove the nails which the women told me not too else the coconut tree will just die off. Imagine!!! Make I no comot wetin? I just went ahead and removed the nails jare. And that was that about the coconut and nails oooo...

Lo and behold, in less than a week, my coconut tree started bleeding ooo!!! This one no be super story Biko. Blood like stains started coming out of the coconut tree all over the body. I called a friend to help inspect and he suggested I nail it back. Never!!! I told him, it should be a simple case of a disease I will find out online. As I type this, also all the leaves have fallen off, and it's dying from the top. New leaves ain't even coming out .

I no go lie my people, small fear catch me oooo!!! I had to even go as far as sanctifying the coconut tree and making making crucifix around it Biko. I don't plan losing my precious coconut tree out of the little I have Biko

Please anyone with a logical explanation as to what is happening to the coconut tree? Or is it just mere coincidence?

A Baba's Assessment

An elderly man did come in to help me look at it and told me something funny and new to me. angry grin. He said and asked; Do you know why people plant coconut in front of their house? I was like? For planting sake na!!! He just laughed and said. It isn't just beautification. It's actually for protection. shocked. Coconut trees are used to fight off Evil arrows which the Yorubas call "oFa". The coconut trees serves as a bulletproof and protection to the house. It receives any evil weapon fired against the house. Hmmmm

I just cut him off...Baba, but this one na inside compound I plant am na. Moreover, who wants to fire evil arrow at a farm? undecided. Nevertheless, I am a purely breeded native guy, deeply rooted in the knowledge of our traditions but not a partaker thereof. He just simply told me, this one has received some arrows and it's a gonna...

@FarmTech
What's your assessment on this?

Would love to get more inputs on this issue.

Not everything should be public knowledge, but Coconut trees and palm trees are very spiritual trees and not to be toyed with just about abyhow. Your coconut tree was used as a shield to fend off spiritual attacks, it received it on behalf of the person and the rest is the consequence of that action. It does not necessarily need to be planted at the house, if manipulated, it can shield a person rhousands of kilometers away making it appear like the person is in proximity.

Yes coconut trees are spiritual in nature. Why is it that, some churches and spiritualist use coconut water and the nuts as a whole to do cleansing? Or do you know the mystery on how water entered the coconut?
What those ladies told you are real and have you heard or seen a coconut tree uprooted by wind before?

The Bible recorded that, people of this world are very wise and knowledgeable in the act of wickedness. They most have pinned the destiny of someone on that tree and you have liberated the person.

Also, that baba's assertion is real and believe able.

I am a coconut farmer and enthusiastic based in Ogun State.

Measure 6 feets away from the base of the tree, dig round in a circle and apply salt with manure since rain has started coming, You pray and hope it survives. Also if not for the tree is tall, I would advise you mix detergent and water with some engine oil and spray on the leaves.

Don't believe all these nonsense of witchcraft. It's a disease troubling your coconut tree.

Why not avail us the name of the disease that makes trees bleed without nail driven into them? Maybe they need zinc and iron from the rusty nails to stay healthy then or you are just a witch protecting the secrets of your system.

"Coconut stem bleeding," a disease also known as "bleeding canker," is characterized by a reddish-brown liquid oozing from stem wounds, caused by fungal infections, which can lead to trunk rot and eventually, tree death.

Removing the nails might have led to the infection, maybe smiley

People and non-people of this world are wise, but they are not bigger than God and they remain mere creations. Everything in life is spiritual nothing extraordinary about trees, No be God's creation?

Please pray to whatever you believe in but particularly address the creator God, the Oluwa overall, and let whatever human and, particularly, the spirits know that they are His creation and will testify to their wrongdoings if they choose to harm you.

Please try to use Google to make a research when you notice something new. Make una leave spirit alone.

When a tree starts to bleed, it is essentially exuding sap or resin through the bark in response to injury.

The nails you removed obviously opened up the wounds.

Put nails on coconut trees help boost the iron content. It an antidote to iron deficiency. It stops abortion of the seeds( Falling off of immature coconut)

Why to you put the nails back and let's see what happens.

Nails on a coconut tree are highly diabolical.

I never believed this until I visited my roots in 2017 for a midnight prayer session. We went deep into a grove we never knew had a stream, and here were all these nails on a coconut tree that stood on its own. As we were yanking them off, the man who nailed them there was heard screaming in his bedroom.

That was how mysterious deaths that had consumed several males in the family was checkmated till date. The perpetrators have started to take their place.
