A heartwarming viral video has earned a group of secondary school students widespread praise after they surprised their teacher with gifts following his child's naming ceremony.

In the video, the students can be seen walking up one after the other to place various items on a table at the front of the classroom while their teacher remains focused on writing on the board. When he finally turns around and sees the thoughtful gifts, he is visibly overwhelmed with emotion.

Sharing the video on TikTok, the students captioned it, "How We Surprised Our Civic Teacher After His Naming Ceremony."

While this kind of gesture has become increasingly common in tertiary institutions—where university students frequently surprise their lecturers with gifts—it's remarkable to see younger students embracing the tradition. This is believed to be the first time such an act has been recorded or witnessed among secondary school students.

shocked

Women in National Assembly will never show this kind gesture to Akpabio after his child dedication and naming ceremony on the floor of the Red chamber.......because Akpabio has made sexual move towards all of them. They would rather buy sexdoll and present to Akpabio on his child naming ceremony.

I still dey wonder what Madam Nunieh would buy for Akpabio

This Civic teacher here is so Civil in his profession that he had controlled his 3rd leg amongst those younglings. Reason he had those gifts thrown at him in abundance on the occassion of his childs naming ceremony.

Can Akpabio be this Civil to receive this honourable gifts from NA Esp the female??

Be a good teacher, do not be like those big headed teachers that are frustrated about life that they land their frustrations on their students.

Nice.
I love it when people show pure love.
But you see that university students, their own is on another level.
Once you see a girl who doesn't talk to a particular lecturer, just know that she's fbcking that lecturer.

My 'girl' use to avoid meeting her HOD in the public. I later discovered that she was fbcking the man in his lodge.

If you are dating university girl at any level, RUN.
I repeat, run from her!

Remove religious obsession, fanatism and ethnicity with bad leadership, Nigerians regardless of age, stage or state,Nigerians are very loving people

It's only in nigeria a man or woman will be stranded on the streets and you don't know him or her fro Adam yet they'll give him a bed to sleep, a roof over his head and even transportation money to go back to his/her base but politicians
and religious leaders has made us see each other like enemies. If its not Muslims vs Christians its igbo vs hausa

A teacher who receives such heartfelt gestures from their students is undoubtedly a dedicated professional. It's a common phenomenon that students, upon graduation, come to appreciate and acknowledge the tireless efforts of their most dedicated teachers. Interestingly, these are often the same teachers they may not have particularly liked or appreciated during their early school days, only to later recognize the profound impact they had on their educational journey.
Like sey de man na lackadaisical teacher, I sure sey de students no go send am.
