I'm even finding the virtue signaling from some people who maintained radio silence when Dino Melaye threatened to rape Remi Tinubu amusing.

That said Akpabio can't be judge and jury in your own case. Senate should have investigated the sexual harassment allegations as a separate matter from Natasha's alleged breach of ethics.

As it is now, they have played into her hands to make her an 'undeserving' face of patriarchal bullying.

Pending when clearer evidence is provided, I will also be skeptical of both parties.

My dad told us that during Lateef Jakande istration as governor in Lagos State, the Lagos state government built Low Cost housing estates in different parts of the state and it was available for the regular low income/middle income earners resident in the state to apply and get allocated.

My dad and his friend applied, got awarded and when they were at the point of allocation they were asked to choose a location. They both preferred Iponri housing estate.(which is very close to Lagos Island if u want to follow Ikorodu road through to Eko bridge). It was at this point they were informed that the site of the Iponri Estate was sand filled and that the sand filling has a lifespan of over 80 years before the residents start experiencing serious environmental issues in that axis.

My dad was concerned and opted for an estate in a location different from the Iponri estate while his friend went ahead to pick the Iponri location. My dad was concerned that even though he won't be alive to see what happens after the 80 years lifespan expires, his children will and he doesn't want to leave behind an asset that will turn out to be a curse. His friend on the other hand said he doesn't really about what happens after his death jare and he was allocated 3 bedroom flat at the Iponri Estate. They are both dead now and we've only used about 41 or 42 years out of the 80 years time frame.

Whether there will be issue with the sand filling after 80 years, only time will tell.

I think it's normal for places like that to experience minimal flodding during raining season. V.I for eaxample , if it rains heavily for an hour or two u will see water everywhere.

What matters is having a good drainage system to aid the water quick draining of the flood when the rain stops.

So did Natasha get a 6 month suspension for the disruption over seating arrangements, or for accusing the senate president of sexual harassment?

The sexual harassment situation was essentially an issue between two persons, and basically one persons word against the other...if they were to adjudicate on that, the fair thing to do would have been to suspend both parties until they had sorted their issues, or recommend resolution outside of the senate.

They chose not to investigate the issue, and struck it out on technicalities, yet went ahead to punish one party, and it's clear that her "crime" of disrupting senate preceding's doesn't match the 6 month suspension so while they didn't attend to her petition, it didn't stop them from punishing her for daring to file it .

It's speaks to the state of things that our political office holders are moving like this.

I hate injustice. But when it happens I want it to happen to those in politics.

Like the SC judgement against Fubara. Like what's happening to Natasha. Etc.
