There's need for education of the people first, I'd say. Most of our people are ignorant about the mythologies that follow the gods. E.g. Christians see them as idols. My Mom's family are typical Ogun worshippers, same with my maternal grandma side. Hunters mostly worship Ogun, so he's a popular diety in Yorubaland. Where I come from, nobody openly worship Esu. He's only used at special occasions.
