But this is almost 2 years into the istration (foreign trips), positive signs of such trips should be trickling in by now at least for the ones done and secured in 2023.
We all know that very soon, the main focus will be on electioneering towards 2027,,,, hope these "has yielded" will still not be what we will be hearing by 2026.

You guys are very funny.

The average timeline between a 'commitment' to invest x billion dollars in a country, and the actual operation of that investment is AT LEAST 3 YEARS IF YOU ARE LUCKY.

More usually 4 to 5 years. A lot of work and meetings are involved.

A lot of surveys and environmental impact investigations, funding negotiations, profit-sharing arrangements, etc etc.....some places where certain minerals have been discovered by satellite or something, there are no roads leading there at all because they are in the middle of nowhere. So we have to build the roads to reach there first, which can take a couple of years at least!

I mean, these things drag on for years before anything is on ground!

I was waiting for this, let's save this and may God spare our lives. Amen.
Government can also do well by listing those investments secured as well as the amount involved so we can confirm in 3, 4 of 5 years time whether it will truly materialise or not and at what magnitude in of the amount of investment.

All what you wrote is relative. It is far more easier for you to send money back home and bearing in mind the volatility of naira to other foreign currency a little some become millions in naira , so please don't defend a government hell bent on fostering poverty on Nigerians with a bolekaja economic policies.

Doing business is extremely expensive thanks to the local currency settling at 1,500 to a dollar, we are not talking about the risk to lives.

There is nothing Tinubu has done that shows anything has changed for the average/ordinary Nigerian.

Name 1.

This one below is talking about poverty, Oga there are things that should be provided so as to make life easier for business to thrive, everything Tinubu brings is unbearable.

Unsuccessful ones like you ALWAYS looking for external provision..

You can NEVER go far in life with this belief system of yours..

The tertiary Education school loans of the Tinubu FG for students is working very well....

No jobs but we Yorubalokans have palliative bread daily.
Emi la o ni yọsi, as long as we don’t get killed fighting in stampedes.

Glimpsetv:
A large crowd of Lagosians was filmed in a long queue struggling to collect a loaf of bread. To maintain order, several military personnel were on the ground to control the crowd. This has triggered a lot of reactions online.

World Bank offers Nigeria forex rate advice, as Tinubu eyes N200/Dollar rate[

April 23, 2023

The President-elect said he would work with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to *bring down the exchange rate to N200 in his first term.*

“My istration will collaborate with the Central Bank to harmonize the fiscal and monetary policy to achieve immediate stabilization of the value of the naira against the US dollars and other currencies and in the short term, strengthen the naira by boosting the supply of foreign currency and moderating demand.

“The short-term goal is to achieve a naira/dollar rate of 300 naira/US$ and gradually achieve a less than 200 naira rate over the next four years, Tinubu stated.
