I never learned how to drive until I came to Chile. I was a mechanic for a while in Nigeria and even took some driving lessons, but I never took it seriously because I never expected to own a car in my life. Back then, I could have bought a car with my tech job, but I didn’t want to. All I could think about was how to escape Nigeria.
