Good evening everyone. Please I need experts opinions on the choice of car to buy between a 2010 V4 Toyota Camry and 2010 V4 Honda Accord. I want something with good fuel economy, low maintenance cost and reliability. I don't intend to resell it all after usage for while. So I am not considering resale value in making my choice. Thank you very much |

blackfish: Reliability: Both sedans are quite reliable. The Camry has an edge tho as it can tolerate more abuse. Fuel economy :The 2.4 liter in both cars have relatively good fuel economy. I would recommend a corrola, matrix, Peugeot 307, etc if fuel economy is a top priority. Resale value: The Camry certainly wins in the resale value contest. Bless up!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

I will go for the Hinda Accord, if you wanr ruggedity and balance on high speed. Also, if u want speed, go for the Honda, its clearanfe is top-nitch.

Buy the 2010 Camry best decision I made going to 3 yrs now minor fix , . Which is the tie rod, ball t and absorber only no check Engine light. I only service with mobil 1 0w20 as recommended, I restrict any suggestions and advice from any Kazeem . My opinion because during my time I search everywhere for same advice 1 Like |

Honda wins since u r not after reselling. I'm not saying a Camry is not good o but it's just that Toyota design is boring and is not worth half the hype. For the gentleman up there saying he did no major work on his 010 Camry, have u driven an accord yet?

Go for the Camry... If it was 2011/2012 accord, I would have asked you to go for the accord instead |

Timagex: 2010 Camry (with 4 cylinder) has 2.5 ltr. Only the 2010 accord uses 2.4 ltr 1 Like |

staneless: Only xle trims have 2.5l , normal camry is 2.4, by normal, I mean CE and LE, not to sure for sport edition Accord has greater horsepower and there for more speed, similar fuel economy but the camry can take a beating. Nor carry bad fuel near Honda o.....the engine nor go take am o Toyota has a boring interior, well the xle i4 trim has some luxury features like heated seats, leather interior and a few others but aesthetics, Honda is better The ball and socket t issue is not really common with the 2010 Honda accord |

tuoyoojo: Your position on the engine variant is absolutely incorrect. Engine specs are the same across board and the 2.5mL engine was introduced in the 2010 models (07-09 models were fitted with the 2.4L engines except on V6s) also with 6 gears against 5. The camry has a better resale value and can tolerate abuse better than the accord, however, the accord offers a better ride quality and offers better aesthetics. If you are one that is keen on maintainance culture, and reselling is not a major consideration, I would suggest the highest trim of the Honda accord i.e EX-L ( with the i4 engine variant) but if you can't pay attention to required routine maintenance, settle for the camry. If you can get the XLE in i4, good. 1 Like |
