jceesquare: quote author=cardoctor post=134077482] If the clutch fibers are not damaged, my candid advice is to replace by the entire Valve Body hence the non-returning spring loaded plungers. DON'T FORGET TO USE TOYOTA ATF WS to replace transmission fluid.[/quote] C2 clutch is burned up. I'll be on my way to get a new one 1 Like |

Hello guys! What could be the problem with my car, please? Issues: - Engine temperature warning light showing on the dashboard. - Engine temperature meter not moving to indicate the current temperature situation. - Fan isn't blowing at ignition. - Fan starts once I start the car. - RPM is unstable while car is idle. It goes above and below 1,000. Car make is Ford Focus 2009. |

To buy this. The impact should not be worried about right? Not a big deal to fix?

Hello Gurus in the house, please I need your help with my brothers 2011 Lexus ES350 Vehicle looses power while in motion. Car has been scanned and it showed an error relating to the throttle pedal. Throttle pedal was changed, yet issue persists. Issue: Vehicle looses power while in motion but engine is still running, just doesn't rev. Sometimes when you want to overtake, pedal doesn't respond to acceleration. While in motion, even when the gear is pushed to neutral, pressing the throttle, car doesn't rev then suddenly, it picks again Things Done: Fuel pump and filter checked and changed Throttle pedal changed Throttle body (Ejector mouth) changed Plugs and nozzles checked, all fine. What the possible cause of the issue? 1 Like |

kelvinmnet:I hope you kept the original parts of those things you changed with you? Those things aren’t the problem. Check your speed sensor and also your transmission (gear box). I just hope the gear box hasn’t damaged. Meanwhile if you’re on Facebook, this group: Ask a mechanic. It’s very helpful as you’re likely to interact with seasoned mechanics |

Happy new month to everyone here, you guys are doing great work helping people. My question here is: I bought a concentrated imported OEM engjne coolant for Ford Edge 2011 model which I mixed 50/50 with distilled water. However, the remaining mixed quantity I'm using for top up got spilled by mistake from the gallon. Now I need about 100ml to top up level require and I don't know if adding ordinary water or distilled water will cause combustion problem later. Pls advise me expert here with experience cos I won't have hands on original coolant until June.

curiobling:You can add water But why is ur radiator coolant keep going down 🙄 Why not look for where it leaking from so you can rest from toping up coolant every market days. 1 Like |

Abbeyismo:I have concluded to top up with distilled if need be; since it was originally diluted with distilled water to gain 50/50. Tap water stike me a culprit that would not mix properly with the coolant oil. Furthermore, is it possible that one can drive for 5 months without coolant needing top up a few ML? This is about 13 years old car of 154,000km 1 Like |

kelvinmnet: My car, a 2007 Toyota corolla had this same issue, exactly as you described it last week. Scan also showed the throttle position sensor was the issue. I cleaned the throttle body with carburetor cleaner and changed the four plugs. And issue was fixed. And it has not repeated till now. 1 Like |

curiobling: Why are you topping up coolant? |
Grupo(m): 7:24pm On Mar 05 |
curiobling: Lol. Why not? Your cooling system has a leak somewhere. I drove my car, a 2007 Toyota corolla from 2020 to 2024 without adding a single drop of coolant. 2024 was when the radiator went bad. And after fixing, I have not been adding water. Your cooling system is a closed system. So you shouldn't be losing coolant if there's no leak somewhere. 1 Like |

erico2k2:I been using direct from ford concentrated coolant, our local market is flooded with fake products |

Grupo:Nice contribution, I think my reservoir tank is the cause due to frequent opeing and checking. I have not experienced low level coolant since I changed my thermostat over year ago until recent. I have carefully closed tight the cap while monitoring the development, but so far, I have not gone below threshold mark 1 Like |
jceesquare(m): 7:33pm On Mar 06 |
curiobling:Why @bolded? The tank is transparent enough for you to see the coolant level. Besides constant opening would compromise the cap seal. 1 Like |

jceesquare:you are very correct, it used to be visibly very clear, but i noticed I started struggling to get a clear view been the reason why I do opened to see inside sometimes because im too caring haha, and the day I noticed low level of coolant was traceable to days back when I opened the reservoir and turned out that I didn't closed it wisely . By the way, I think I need to wash the reservoir from clogged stains of yellow color coolant 1 Like |
