Yahoo Boy’s Girlfriend Kills Final-Year Nursing Student While Learning To Drive (41683 Views)

Myrepublic: True that, but most Nigerians learn how to drive from friends and loved ones . Still there are driving schools galore. Her boyfriend should have paid for her to go there. Also some people do driving lessons in places where there is no active traffic |

Shockingly, the Yahoo Boy fled the scene, abandoning his girlfriend to face the consequences alone. why is it shocking? what was the boy expected to do? |

oz4real83: What of the theft of BILLIONS of Naira that would have changed the lives of Nigerians by poli-thief-cians? |

Probably her yahoo boyfriend told her to do it I heard that their current modus operandi is to run people over to death with their cars |
Crafteck1: 1:48pm On Feb 22 |
Chilipepper: So it's accidental, negligent but you had to demonize the bf too... Bleep off |
Caseless: 1:50pm On Feb 22 |
oz4real83: That's why I always appear Nigerians driving on the road. Always walk against traffic, don't turn your back to it. Someone might veer off road do the unthinkable. I pity those who walk on the road claiming their road right and thinking everyone driving is in his senses. I'm sure this yahoo boy's girlfriend would never drive again for the rest of her life. May her soul rest in perfect peace. 1 Like 1 Share |

Crafteck1:Accidental? Is that the right place to teach someone how to drive? |
damiloladuke: 1:52pm On Feb 22 |
Myrepublic: It's involuntary manslaughter. Maximum is 10 years I think 1 Like |

Caseless: Thats where the negligence comes in.. |

IyfeNamikaze: Except her lawyer can prove to the court that it was involuntary manslaughter, she faces life imprisonment. Proving to the court that it was involuntary will give her lesser sentence. So sad. Her education is in tatters. In her first year, she left her studies to focus on a boyfriend. Very sad for the bright future of the young woman lost. |

She just wasted her life for nothing ![]() ![]() ![]() |
donbenie(m): 2:23pm On Feb 22 |
ElevationD:How exactly is it involuntary? When she knowingly entered the road whilst being fully well she's not licensed and expert enough drive on it? Homicide by negligence. |
donbenie(m): 2:26pm On Feb 22 |
Crafteck1:The BF is an accessory.. He aided and abetted.. He's an accessory to a homicidal act.. |

Originalsly: I didn't try anything, knowing fully well how some Nigerians behaves and her family that came to hospital to see her. If I had followed up, they would be "milking " me on regular basis. They called me for money for a follow up check in another hospital and I sent. They did same for the second time, I sent. On the third time, I told them to bring her to the former hospital that I took her to, that treated and discharged her, they refused and I quietly blocked them. I told the Physio that treated her about the calls from her family and he told me nothing serious and that she would recover without any further treatment. He gave me a copy of her discharge by the hospital. Don't ever have case with people that would use you as an ATM. Lots of people are hungry in Nigeria and if they perceived you as being able to put food on the table, you would be their "maga" 1 Like |

Myrepublic:Was the girl forced to learn? She took a decision as an adult and instead of you people seeing her death as a consequence of her decision, you are here blame her boyfriend who might have been deceived by the girl that she knew how to drive. Why can't women call out their fellow women when they make a mistake? Why always looking for a way to rope a man in? Just look at the headline |
AerialMapper: 5:20pm On Feb 22 |
And what was the need to describe the person teaching the girl to drive as a yahoo boy?
|
Originalsly: 5:55pm On Feb 22 |
Focusmind: Ok .... so you did follow up ... that's good. No doubt .... we're at the stage where greed is greater than hunger and our people in general will not miss an opportunity to squeeze money out of others. It is a big setback to those who really need help but helpers will hold back .... guilty of greed until proven innocent. |
